Chapter 2083 - Unowned Nova Source

In the Xenoworld, somewhere in the wondersky realm, a mass of blood mist moved in the darkness. Deep in the clouds and mist, a figure appeared. The figure suddenly turned around. It was a young man who appeared ordinary but had six fingers on each hand, which made him rather conspicuous.

"The mysterians!" The boy's eyes resembled a vortex as he stared at the blood mist.

"Etherean." The humanoid blood mist knelt on the ground, gradually condensing into an old man.

"The Wonderhaze Suzerain is dead. They were in contact with you before. Tell me what's going on," the young man said.

"Yes!" The old man’s voice trembled slightly. He was completely honest, recounting everything about Skyway Quadstar, keeping it brief and concise.

"It’s our fault, Etherean. For the sake of our loyalty to you, give us a chance to correct our mistakes. We won’t ever conceal such a thing from you again," the old man begged.

"I won’t kill you, but you must be punished. Your leader is still on Skyway Monostar? Call him here to accept his punishment," the young man said.

"Yes!" The old man bowed his head, his face pale. "How should we deal with that ancient star?"

"They’re about to pass the celestial boundary and head east?" the young man asked.

"Yes."

"Who told him that the east isn’t under the divine wonderians?"

"I don't know."

"It doesn't matter. He can forget about escaping after killing a suzerain of ours," the young man said.

"He's finished," the old man said.

"Return and wait for orders," the young man instructed.

"Yes!"

......

Contrary to his expectations, Tianming’s lifebound beasts successfully evolved before passing the celestial boundary. The number of stars in their eyes now exceeded nine thousand, making them supersovereign beasts. From their appearance, it didn’t seem like a big transformation, because the next threshold was ten thousand stars and above. Only after that would they undergo a new transformation.

"Regardless, becoming a nine-star divine beast is the peak at their level." Most sovereigns possessed eight-star divine beasts. Although their transformations were minimal, they had all managed to break more bloodline chains and gained new abilities. Ying Huo's new ability was called the Undying Flamebath. The phoenix was reborn from the ashes, which allowed its body to regenerate. With the Greenspark Tower, Ying Huo would become an immortal god of war. Ordinary wounds would be nothing.

Meow Meow’s new ability was called the Yinyang Boltwheel and was formed by the combination of Genesis Bolt and Chaos Fiendbolt. It was an upgraded version of its Misty Hellthunder. Meow Meow could create a lightning wheel composed of black and white lightning that enveloped its opponents, rotating at a high speed and inflicting damage.

Lan Huang's new ability was the Drakerage Swordblast, which was an upgraded Primordial Sword. As the name implied, the swords that covered Lan Huang’s body could explode in all directions. Like Tianming’s totems, the swords could easily be controlled. Lan Huang was thrilled because of it, claiming that it would also be a swordsman from now on.

Xian Xian gained the most—its sixth flower had finally bloomed. It was a dark pink flower called the Ghoulface Fiendblossom. It was clearly a symbol of beauty, yet each petal hid an ugly, terrifying face. The Ghoulface Fiendblossom could turn into hundreds of millions of petals, spreading out and covering the battlefield, attaching to the enemy’s flesh. It was very difficult to tear off the Ghoulface Fiendblossom unless they tore off their skin. As long as it was attached, the petals would suck out their vitality until the infested host was reduced into a dried up corpse. It was a frightening method of control. If a lifebound beast was covered in the Ghoulface Fiendblossom, its entire body covered in ghoulish faces that fed on its flesh and blood, its energy would slowly be depleted and its combat power would plummet. Xian Xian's new ability was Lan Huang's worst nightmare. In the beginning, when the Ghoulface Fiendblossom filled the air, they would cry melodiously, but began endlessly screaming and wailing once they covered the entire body.

Tianming understood now. "The two little girls next to Ling'er are both devils, but one is evidently so while the other is good at disguise, hiding its deviousness deeper."

Yin Chen had gained a lot as well, unlocking new forms. When its new transformation appeared in front of Tianming, everyone was stunned. A silver egg had turned into something shaped like an umbrella, fluttering before their eyes. It was rather graceful.

"What’s this?" Tianming asked.

"A jellyfish." Yin Chen replied.

"How’s that possible? Aren’t you only able to transform into insects? You can do this as well? You cover quite a wide range," Tianming said, shocked.

"Who said… that I… can only… do insects?" Yin Chen contemptuously said.

A jellyfish…. Tianming considered it a sort of insect as well, one of the sea. He had learned that jellyfish possessed incredible combat power in all kinds of liquid environments, even lava. It also possessed toxic metals that were extremely poisonous. With this new form, Yin Chen was almost omnipotent on land, in water, and in space. All five of his newly evolved partners had grown stronger.

They’ve grown stronger since Ji Ji was born. The Primordial Chaos Beasts are growing more and more terrifying, he thought to himself.

......

The process of moving through the celestial boundary wasn’t as tumultuous as Tianming had imagined, but was instead like passing through a membrane. Up ahead was the boundless universe. Standing on a fiery cloud, Tianming looked at the bright starry sky in front of him. It was much brighter than the Mysterium Cluster.

"Come out, Ji Ji!" Tianming called.

"What’s up?" Ji Ji emerged from the solar core.

"Let’s see the star map." Tianming was interested in the vast universe before him.

"Oh." In an instant, a brand new star map appeared. This time, the sun was on the westernmost side of the star map.

"Where are we?" Tianming asked.

"Here." Ji Ji pointed out a location.

"I wouldn’t call this remote. There’s quite a few nova source worlds around here. Why is the one closest to us shining so brightly? It's more than ten times brighter than the sun." Tianming was shocked. According to the star map, the bright star was just nearby.

“Is it a deific-class world?" He looked at the previous star map. Skyway Tristar was just as bright as this one.

"Not necessarily. It might be an unowned nova source. It’s small, but emits a lot of nova source." Ji Ji said.

"Oh, that's interesting. You don’t usually find prosperous worlds at the boundary," Tianming said.

"So…."

"Let’s take down this unowned star!" As soon as he had arrived in this new world, Tianming immediately found another goal. After Ji Ji’s birth, his main goal was for the sun to grow stronger and return to the glory days of the Flameyellow Imperial Star. With that in mind, his aim was to discover the secrets behind his parents and the Primordial Chaos Beasts, as well as look for Feng and the others.
