The man fell into the seeker's mouth. Keng turned his head away as he listened to the bones snap. The boy cried for his dad, putting the man's efforts in vain. Keng screamed as he pushed against the webs.

A single thought grew in Keng's head. 'I need to save the kid!' Keng's form came undone as the single thought burned in his head. The webs bubbled outwards as eight tails pushed against it. The web strings began to snap as Keng roared.

"Solarium: Dance of the Two Suns!" A silver clone flew out of Keng's body, splitting into more clones. They all swung Hydrosphere at the seeker, releasing a flurry of cuts. Silver fire ignited the monster and webs as Keng dashed over to the kid. His fingers drew runes as he grabbed the crying kid with one arm and lifted him up. He lifted his free hand up to the monster and snapped his fingers. "Runeweaver: Fiery Death!"

Silver flames exploded all around the monster as wisps dug into the seeker. Keng dashed past the monster as it tried to swing at him. A clone took the hit, exploding into wisps. Keng flew out of the room, landing on the side of the wall as he pushed himself away.

"Daddy!" The kid sobbed loudly. Keng pulled the kid up and wrapped both hands around him. He continued down the hall as the screams of seeker filled the halls. "Daddy!" The side wall exploded as the flaming seeker rushed after Keng.

'Dammit!' Keng shouted in his head. 'It's coming after me!'

'I'm almost there!' Manny shouted through the comms. Keng glanced backwards as his tails split to let him see. The monster was quickly gaining on him.

'That thing didn't die! That's not even normal fire!' Keng pushed through the halls, leaving burn marks behind as he snaked his way through the halls. Keng quickly landed in a dead end. He cursed under his breath as he turned to see the monster at the end of the hall. It grabbed at the walls, destroying everything in its place as Keng moved for the door. He grabbed at it and realized it was locked.

"Shit!" Keng shouted. "What do I do now?!? I'm trapped with a door that's locked in front of me!"

'Your key!' Olivia shouted. 'Use it!'

'Right!' Keng thought. He had totally forgotten about the key. He pulled the key out of his pocket. The skull key would open anything. He pushed the key onto the door and turned it. He twisted the door handle and watched it open. Keng rushed through the door, slamming the door shut with his power. The door locked back into place as Keng continued forward.

The door had led Keng to a strange room in full white. The kid was howling where his human ears were supposed to be, begging Keng to give him his dad. Keng turned as the seeker pounded agaisnt he door. He watched the Dark Matter pulse from the door. He scooted backwards, hitting his back against the other wall.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The Seeker continued to hit the door with no luck. Whatever Keng had found was certainly in his favor.

"Daddy!" The kid cried in Keng's arm. "I want daddy!"

"H-hey!" Keng shouted as the kid managed to push himself away from the stranger. The kid nearly fell if it weren't for Keng's tails catching him. The kid thrashed as it landed on the ground.

"I want my daddy!" The kid turned and ran to the door. He managed to turn the lock, letting the door rip open.

"Kid, no!" Keng shouted, pushing the seeker's arms away. He pulled the kid to him with his other hand. The seeker screeched as Keng grunted and shoved it away from the door. He quickly rushed forward, closing the door and locking it.

"I want my daddy!" The kid sobbed. Keng turned and blinked towards the kid. He grabbed the kid by his collar and lifted the kid up into the air.

"You could've died!" Keng shouted in frustration. "Do you understand what your dad just did for you?!? He protected you so you wouldn't die to that monster! Do you want to die to that monster, you stupid kid?!?" The kid sobbed harder as he tried to thrashed. Keng sucked in a breath and tried to calm himself down. He set the kid onto the ground and turned as the kid crumbled into a mess.

"Daddy!" The kid cried. "I want my daddy!" Keng rubbed his temples.

"How's anyone going to survive that for twenty hours?" Keng whispered.

'Keng, are you okay?' Olivia asked.

"I'm fine…" Keng sighed. "This kid's dad sacrificed himself for his son and now the kid wants to go after the monster to get his dad back… Ahhh, I'm not good with kids."

'Where are you?' Manny asked. 'Maybe we could meet up with you?'

"I'm not sure where." Keng looked around. "It's a white room. I don't remember anything about the school having rooms like this. M-maybe its created?"

'It was behind the locked door?' Liz asked.

"Yeah." Keng sighed. He turned to look at the kid who was in a fetal position. Keng's heart sank. He was filled with so much adrenaline, he lashed out on the kid who watched his own father die in front of him. "I'll try to meet up with you guys. I'll try and see if I can get this kid to stay in the room. Tell me where you guys meet up in a bit. Keng out." Keng twisted the bracelet into silent mode.

"Daddy…!" The kid sobbed. Keng sighed and stepped over and Asian squatted next to the kid. "I want my daddy…!" The kid looked at Keng, reaching up to him as if Keng could magically bring his father back to life.

"I know." Keng sighed. "Your dad gave us a chance to run away. He gave us a chance to come to this protected room. Do you really want to fight that monster and waste everything your dad has done for us?" The kid wiped his snot and tears away and shook his head. "I'll make sure to avenge your daddy, hm? You have to stay here and wait for me to return, okay?"

"What if you don't, Mister?" The kid asked. "What if … What if you die like daddy?"

"I won't die. I won't die until that monster is dead and I know you're safe." Keng raised his pinky finger.

"You pinky swear?"

"I pinky swear." Keng wiggled his pinky finger. He watched the kid think for a moment before pinky swearing. "I pinky swear with a kiss." He raised his thumb over to the kid and waited for the kid to do the same. "See? A true promise now. You have to stay here until then, okay?"

"I peed myself, Mister… What should I do?" He looked down as the two pulled their pinkies away from each other. Keng's Void Storage rune lit up. He dug through clothes and found nothing but large clothes.

"Ah, I don't have anything that can help you out… Why don't you take those off and I'll clean them before I go, hm?" Keng suggested.

"Can you clean them?"

"Yeah."

"How? There's no washer or dryer here…" The kid sniffed up a bunch of snot.

"It's a magic trick." Keng smiled. "Let me show you." He managed to coax the kid to take off his clothes for a moment. Keng pulled out a towel and summoned Hydrosphere. He washed the kid and then dried him with a towel. "Okay, stay there while I clean your clothes." He took the clothes and put on a show for the kid. The kid watched in amazement as Keng cleaned the clothes.

"Air." Keng released the run and blew the clothes dry. He pushed some air over to the kid, getting a smile out of it. "All done! Let's put these on, hm?" Keng helped the boy put on his newly cleaned clothes. "How's that?" The kid nodded and smiled. Keng wiped away a rogue tear and ruffled the kid's hair. "You gotta stay here, okay? I'll leave some stuff for you to do in the meantime, but do not open the door no matter what. Promise Mister."

Keng stuck his pinky out and the kid wrapped his around Keng's. "I promise." The kid sniffled. Keng nodded and ruffled the kids hair one last time before turning to the door. "Mister… Why do you look like that?" Keng stopped and smiled at the kid.

"Because I'm a Fox." Keng answered. "You can call me Mister Fox. What can I call you?"

"Victor." The kid smiled.

"Well, Victor… We made some promises today, right? What are they? Can you tell Mister Fox before I go?"

"You'll avenge daddy and come back alive. Don't open the door for anyone." Victor recited the promises. Keng nodded and gave him a thumbs up.

"Good. I'll be back, alright?" Keng waved and turned his attention to the door. It had grown silent. He steadied himself and turned silent mode off on the comms. He could hear Evan panicking about something. "Alright, let's get at it."
