Chapter 1462 1309: Assassination
In another location, a girl in black could be seen flashing through the forest like a mirage. This woman in black was none other than Sera on a mission.

Sera was standing in front of the cavern, where Flame Emperor and the Blood Lord, Number 4 were fighting against each other.
Even though she couldn't see them, she could feel the impact of the clash between the Flame Emperor's magic and Number 4' bloody energy.
'The Flame Emperor is losing. His magic seemed ineffective.'
Sera remarked and soon found out the reason why.
'That longsword…'
Sera looked at the jet-black longsword that the Blood Lord was holding through the magic recording crystal she left in the cave beforehand. It cut through the Flame Emperor's fire magic in a single slash as she watched, and she could feel the evil energy coming from it.
'Is it interfering with magic?'
Sera couldn't tell exactly what kind of power the longsword had from simply watching through the crystal ball.

He couldn't properly formulate his question from his panic.
"I interfered because it looked extremely dangerous for you. I hope it wasn't unwarranted."

The stench of blood was mixed in his sigh as he looked at Sera with tired eyes.
"You saved my life. Thank you."
''You are welcome. It was my duty after all. Let's help the other but first I have something I need to finish!" Sera said as her eyes turned cold before she vanished, there was still one prey left.
The Flame Emperor unconsciously took a step back upon meeting those cold-blooded eyes. He weakly mumbled.
'What a powerful assassin working for Guild leader.'
