Chapter 602 Isn't This My Bar?-3

Half an hour ago, Samuel walked inside the bar and began surveying the area with a keen eye. As he heard it was not a large place, the bar counter took almost half the space but there was room for at least two to three bartenders to work without crashing into one another.

The rest of the space was decorated thoughtfully, with room for customers to go in and out without jamming the entrance and rest of the place was filled up with large sitting area. The largest table seemed to be for a group of six but if one rearranged the table it could sit more people if they needed to.

The room was dimly lit probably to not trigger any drunk customers and the whole vibe matched old english traditional look with everything made out of wood. The counter was jammed pack with different alcohol and he could even see few expensive ones hiding behind a glass case.

Lastly, there were neon lights flying around in all corners giving it a more modern look and of course a large two large TV one mounted behind the counter and one for the guests in the sitting area. He could imagine the rowdy customers watching football game while chugging down large quantities of alcohol.

Honestly, he wasn't a fan of it. Maybe living with the Rothschilds ultimately made him seek more comfortable places coupled with his lack of experience in such places made it hard for him to like it instantly.

As he was observing the place, the people inside were also curiously looking at the young man in provocative outfit seemingly in daze. They didn't need any hint to know that the person was rich, branded clothes, sunglasses, shoes and that ridiculous watch hanging on his wrist all screamed ultra rich. They were questioning why a person like that was visiting this place.

Samuel also stared back, fortunately there were no girls at the hour or else his looks would have made a commotion! He dodged few stools and walked over to the counter to inspect the wood. Tapping it few times made him realize it was genuine and expensive.

He still hadn't said anything, even the bartender were puzzled how to approach seeing his bizarre movements.

" Why don't you go and ask him what he want?" Two bartenders started discussing.

" Why me? You should go over there! See how tall he is? What if I accidently say something and he hit me?"

" What? We are not in a movie! Why would he do something like that?"

" Whatever, we never get customers like him and he must be here waiting for someone. We should leave him alone."

" You coward! Fine, let me handle it." The man decided to take matters into his own hands. He walked confidently toward Samuel who was still busy inspecting the bar but he knew someone was walking over to him. He smiled inward because that's what he was waiting for.

" Sir? Can I help you with anything? We are just about to close so you can order anything other than alcohol."

" Haah?" Samuel turned back towering over the man and stared at him menacingly. Even though his eyes were not visible, one could feel the irritation oozing out of him. The bartender was taken aback by his sudden change in mood.

" Sir?"

" I don't need your permission for anything. If I like something I will just take it."

" Oh..okay."

The other bartender was watching the scene from the sidelines thanking his intuition, he knew this customer was trouble the minute he walked inside! But he didn't want his fellow co-worker to get humiliated, so he went to support him.

He got the same reaction despite being more friendly. They were at a loss not knowing what the young man wanted with them, if he didn't need any food why did he even come here? They were too afraid to ask him.

" Who is the owner of this place? Tell him to come and meet me!" Samuel sat down and asked with an arrogant tone.

Suddenly someone came from the kitchen and said," What are you guys doing over there!? Don't you know she will kill me if we don't finish up before she arrives back from the market?" It was a girl who appeared to be same age as Kate. Samuel could tell she was a chef from her clothes.

" Bella! Thank god you are here!" They immediately moved to her side and began whispering in her ears. The more she heard the heavier her expression changed. She looked at the strange young man sitting nonchalantly on the counter not giving a fuck!

" Hey you! Why are you making trouble in my bar?" She came up and exclaimed loudly gathering everyone's attention.

" Your bar?" Samuel was confused. He was waiting for Kate to show up and to surprise her but it seemed like she was not here.

" Yes, I am the assistant manager and the head chef of this place. It's practically my home!" She seemed proud by that statement.

" It seems like you will be working for me now. Be a doll and grab me a can of beer or something?" Samuel decided to act his part seeing that Kate wasn't here. He devised a more devious plan right of the bat!

" You-" Bella was shocked seeing him treat her like a maid! And what did he mean when he said 'working for me now'?

" Hurry up, your job is depending on how well you can do this task for me."

" Bastard! That's it, I had enough of your craziness! Get out of here right now!" She lashed out hearing his cheeky tone.

" Is that how you talk to the new owner of the building? I was being nice but you kept yelling at me! Call your boss right now, we will terminate her lease contract and have you move out in a week!"

She was shocked once again, the way he talked was strange but what's even stranger was the building had changed hands without them knowing about it!?
