The small lock of the box was finally unlocked. After that, holding the lid of the box, Sylvia took a deep breath before she opened it.

Jack did not care about the reaction that Sylvia was having. Instead, he stretched his hand forward and grabbed the bead. The bead was crystalline, with a smooth surface.
Other than that, it was quite cold to touch, but at the same time, Jack could feel that there was a hint of heat coming from within the crystal bead. It was just that, it was as if there was something that was trying to prevent the heat from coming out.

Sylvia's mind was running, trying to think of a solution. She really could not give up on this ability crystal bead. This was the only hope that she was having to complete her goal. And if she did not complete the goal, then, she could only go back to her family.
Currently, the only person that she could think of that was capable of activating the crystal bead was actually her niece. It was just that, she was not willing to go there. The ability crystal bead was something that was capable of granting someone an ability. It was just that, the ability crystal bead was always inactive the moment that it was found.
