“He did it for you because you’re his sister.”
Song Ci said with an enigmatic smile, “It’s not that simple.”
“Then why? Does he enjoy acting?”
Song Ci shook her head.
“Because he wants to earn money.”
Director Chen nodded.
“I see. He’ll be able to earn quite a bit.”
“He gave his salary to me as pocket money.”
“Pocket money?”
Director Chen was surprised.
“Yes. He’s so obedient and cute.”
Director Chen asked curiously, “What kind of magic potion did you give him? How is he so sensible?”
Song Ci’s eyes curved into crescents. She laughed and waved her hand smugly.
“It’s just his personality.”
Director Chen could not help but ask, “What do his parents think about this matter?”
Song Ci lowered her eyes and explained, “His parents are no longer around. I’m his legal guardian now.”
Director Chen was shocked. Most children in Song Yujin’s situation would develop caution and become cynical. However, Song Yujin still retained his warmness.
‘Song Ci must have treated him very well.’
With that thought in mind, Director Chen glanced at Song Ci.
‘She’s still young but has been through a lot. Yet, she remained optimistic and managed to accumulate loads of wealth.’
One could easily tell that Song Ci was rich. She clearly spoiled herself and Song Yujin financially.
“You’re really proud of yourself, aren’t you?”
“Somewhat.”
Song Ci laughed.
Director Chen was speechless.
Meanwhile, Wu Chengfei was talking to Song Yujin.
“Yujin, what if the script tells me to pinch your face?”
“There’s no such thing in the script.”
“I’m speaking hypothetically.”
“Then okay…”
Song Yujin was clearly unwilling.
Wu Chengfei rubbed his hands and smiled.

Song Yujin nodded.

“Whenever I show up, he’ll be the first one to greet me. He obviously likes me a lot.”

“Pocket money?”
Wu Chengfei was stunned.
“Yes. He’s not even interested in acting, but he took up this job for me. I wished he played more. This child is too hard-working.”
