[Welcome, Lord_Mimo… Please Pick your Class!]

Class?

Mimo curiously.

With the other realms, he had never been asked this.

So what was this Class Thing?

He didn't have the chance to think further because soon, the mirror-like rectangular walls that surrounded him suddenly lit up.

~Swish!

The front 3 walls seemed to turn on as countless words appeared.

But the other Walls surrounding him remained as mirrors instead.

Okay.

He looked at the words deeply and quickly understood a few key concepts.

Alright.

Firstly, he chose his gender to be Male before looking at the various Classes that existed. And the more he looked, the more amazed he was.

In total, he saw 10 classes; Warrior, Knights, Wanderer, Thief, Bandit, Hunter, Sorcerer, Pyromancer, Cleric, and Deprived.

At the same time, he realized that each Class type also had different stats.

For example, the Knights had greater Vitality than Warriors, and Bandits had greater strength than Thieves.

He realized that these stats could be improved too, as stats showed Attributes, Base

Powers, Defenses, and Resistances.

There was so much to take in here, and he felt like he had to make a smart move for now.

Looking at it, he didn't know if in the future, he would be lower to change his Class or not.

So his choice now was all the more impactful, as he might carry the burden of any wasted stats or useless states to him.

And looking at all the classes more, he decided to stick with the Warrior Class.

The Knight Class tempted him greatly. But the Warrior class appealed to him more.

.

[Class Selected.]

~Woosh!

The him in the mirror switched attire, and now, he also had a shield and sword.

Now, his face wasn't fully covered.

[Congratulations on Class selection, Lord_Mimo.

Please Select your Gift]

"Hmmm," Mimo replied before looking at all 9 gift options.

There was the Old Witch's Ring, Binoculars, pendant, Goddess's blessing, and many more

But the one that caught his eye was the Master Key.

That's right.

He didn't know how many doors he would have to unlock and pass through.

So The Master Key was indeed a tempting one.

With that, he moved on to the final thing on the list. And that was customizing his physique.

Yup.

If he wanted to be slim, very slim, large, have blond hair, ponytail, or anything else... it was all there.

Mimo was busy customizing his character closest to what he thought a heroic warrior would look like.

And those watching his gameplay were shocked by the revelation they just saw.

.

"Lying trough! You can customize your appearance in the Dark Souls realm? How good is this?" pared to several other classes. So what's wrong with them?"

"Ah! Ah! Ah!... Shh!!! Everyone, he's about to start! He's about to start!"

Instantly, everyone around Mimo stared at the screen excitedly.

Even some who were watching Lulu's gameplay couldn't help turning their heads.

Well, there was no helping it.

Little Lulu was still customizing her female character to her heart's content.

So they could only pull their eyes away now.

But since the duo were seated very close to one another, it wasn't hard for the audience to move their eyes between the 2.

And Mimo, whose mind had blacked out, suddenly heard a something but powerful voice wrong through his ears.

.

[In the age of Ancients... the world was unformed, shrouded by fog.

A land of grey crags, archtrees, and everlasting dragons.

But then there was fire.

And with fire, came disparity!]

As the voice spoke, it took him through a foggy mythical-like forest, showing him dragons.

But suddenly, the voice turned intense as the scenes moved faster, through a hole in a tree, going downwards deeper and deeper... until it finally stopped at a burning plain of raging fire that made his heart sizzle in fear.

Too strong!

The qi from the fire was so strong that even Mimo, who always stayed expressionless, couldn't help flinching away as the qi whisked around him dangerously.

And soon, the voice continued while he watched several skeletons arise.

From there, he learned that these skeletons were seething for the Souls of Lords from within the flames.

From there, some skeleton Lord named Neto, the witch of Izalith and her daughters of chaos... Gywn, the lord of sunlight and his faithful knights, and the furtive pygmy... all had these flames.

And now, with the strength of lords, they challenged the dragons.

Yes.

With the dragons defeated... Thus, began the Age of Fire.

However, the flames began dimming with time. And only darkness could remain.

Mankind had suffered greatly, with some carrying the accursed Darksign.

Humanity was at a Loss!

At least, that's what Mimo felt, as all the pains of humanity seemed to be imprinted on his soul.

Indeed.

The name Dark Souls fitted the game tremendously.

.

~Woosh!

The voice finally ended, and Mimo found himself in a dimly lit tunnel.

Alright. Time to begin!
