42 Chapter 42: Event (3)
The two men fell into the water and groaned a little as the water made contact with the open sores. They immediately tried to use profound energy to stand on the surface of the water, but they realized they couldn't use their profound energy. In fact, they couldn't even sense it, as if they didn't have any profound energy to begin with.
They could only let themselves drown in the water, as they couldn't even swim manually because they had to scratch their whole bodies.
They held their breath in the water and continued to scratch like monkeys. Their skin was now red, and blood was leaking out from the open sores, coloring the water.
The two men didn't care about the enemy, as they understood that their enemy was just playing with them. They would have been dead by now if the enemy wanted. They just did whatever they could to stop the itch. Soon, they discovered that the sensitivity of their skin was increasing.
They were horrified at the thought and began to struggle against the water to get out. They understood that this water was the reason for the skin sensitivity, so they didn't want to stay here a second longer.
But due to the heightened skin sensitivity, the water pressure they felt also increased, making it hard for them to move. Adding to their misery was the itching, whose effect was now multiplied.
Even just a single scratch they made felt like hundreds of swords cutting their skin. They were losing their minds with that level of pain. They were from a shadow army that was directly under the king and had been tortured in many ways, so they had high pain tolerance.
But the feeling of being cut by hundreds of swords made them almost lose their sanity. They wanted to scream in pain, but they couldn't even do that as the water would enter their mouths.
Just as they were in despair, suddenly their surroundings changed as all the water and even the hole disappeared.
Now they were lying on the ground surrounded by trees.
Sensing their freedom, their bodies told them to scream because of the pain, but suddenly the pain changed into something else as they tried to scream. Only a moan of pleasure sounded from their mouths. It was because they discovered that their pain was turning into pleasure.
Their brains were overloading as they were experiencing pain and pleasure consecutively. First, they felt pain, and then immediately after, pleasure. The combination of these was driving them insane.
The pain and pleasure were something they had never experienced or expected before.
They couldn't take it any longer and lost consciousness. Even as their consciousness faded, they just regretted taking this mission and cursed the king for sending them here without any information on the enemy.
Their bodies lay on the ground motionless as three people approached them.
Of course, after all the torture, their bodies were beyond recognition.
Aadi looked at the bodies of both and sighed in disappointment. "What a waste of using Pleasure water on them. I thought they would at least survive this one so I could use my third thing that I prepared."
Asty also came and jumped on his head and sat comfortably. She then said, "I didn't expect you to remember this water, even though I almost forgot it. But I have to say the show was just one level above the worst. If I had to give it a rating, it would be 2/10. It wasn't very interesting, and you just satisfied your sadistic side."
Aurora also chimed in as she said, "Yes, master, although I enjoyed the show, it wasn't up to what I was expecting."
Aadi looked at them speechlessly and said as he raised his hands in the air, "In my defense, I didn't want to use my precious invention on them, and secondly, you didn't watch the main section of the show."
Asty ignored Aadi's excuse and instead asked, "What are you going to do with these two?"
Aadi looked at the two dead bodies and shrugged his shoulders, saying, "I'll just toss them into the dark dimension. Our old 'friend' is wandering around this universe for the 'Netra' anyway, so he'll enjoy the treat."
Asty raised her brows in surprise and said, "So soon? Looks like those old fogies can't wait, huh? Well, just toss these to them; they'll enjoy the meal."
As always, Aurora just listened to their conversation and put it at the back of her head. She didn't understand them anyway.
Aadi put his right hand on one of the bodies. Slowly, a black mist began coming out of his hand and covered the whole dead body. The mist was pitch black and devoured everything it touched, even space itself. Only a chaotic void was left in that place, as the body was also devoured by the mist.
Aadi did the same with the other body and turned, only to see Aurora with her mouth wide open, as if a big apple could fit in. But Aadi noticed that she was staring at the now chaotic void with yearning. Aadi smiled and went forward and put his hand on her head, patting her.
Aurora came back from her daze as she felt a warm feeling in her heart while enjoying Aadi's pat. Soon, a smile emerged on her face as she forgot about everything.
While continuing to pat her, Aadi said to Aurora, "Don't worry, you'll gain power like that in the future, and not just this, you'll be powerful enough to stand at the top. After all, you're the disciple of 'The Quintessential Emperor.'"
"Yeah, you're the first disciple he has ever taken. He'll do every experiment he wanted to do on his disciples, right, Mr. Emperor?" Asty said, snickering as she tapped Aadi's face with her paw.
Aadi caught Asty's paw and replied with the same tone, "Hehe, I also had a big list of things I wanted to experiment on my partner, want me to try them on you?"
