The giant serpent, enraged by the Arrows being shot at it from different directions swooped down, and grabbed a handful of hunters in its mouth.
"F*cking beast, die!!!!" Just as it did that, commander Alaric got riled up. He extended his hand forward and made a few hand gestures, making the massive sword to twist and slash down at the head of the giant serpent.
"Useless" watching this attack barreling down towards her, Liana smirked. The snake was previously only 10% under her control, but the more she sat here, the more her control over it increased. Attacks like these were easy to dodge.

"Hmp!! Die" Anan threw his chain at Leon once again. He wanted to kill Leon, they were already close to capturing Liana, so Leon had no use to them.

Noticing that Leon had dodged his attack, Anan threw a backflip and drew the chain back. Magically, the chains' length increased and took a turn and barreled towards Leon again.

Leon cast a spell and made several ethereal Arrows made out of a red wind appear and fly towards the head of the coiling chain.

This move not only stopped the chain in its tracks, it allowed Leon to continue with his sprint towards Anan.
"Fine!! Let's go head on." Feeling embarrassed by what Leon just did, Anan pulled out a short sword from his back and prepared to engage Leon.

Meanwhile, the giant serpent shook around excessively. It seemed to not only be In pain, but also like it was struggling against something. Ontop of it, Liana looked white as a ghost.
She had been severely injured by Alaric.
She had lost a lot of blood while fighting against Alaric and trying to gain full control over the giant serpent. It felt like she was losing on both fronts even.
"Give up and i'll make sure you get the best cells in the Death squad barracks" Alaric said with a smirk on his face. This fight was actually harder than he thought.
He believed Liana to be the run-of-the-mill middle grade level 3 warlock. But he was surprised to see her accomplishing the feats of peak grade magic users.
It was genuinely surprising that she lasted this long against him, as he was one of the strongest people in Tamlin group.
"Hmmm, you haven't won yet, old bastard. Don't get too excited" Liana raised her head and smiled at Alaric.
Just then, she reached into her robes and pulled out a red pill. Then she directly threw it into her mouth...
