They reached the institute and waited in the lounge.
Huo Yao leaned into the seat lazily and could not be bothered by Qi Hui.
Qi Hui was so angry that he nearly wanted to laugh seeing Huo Yao act this way.
She was stubborn and did not know better. He could have reminded her to watch her back out of the kindness of his heart, but she did not deserve it.
Qi Hui quietly veered his eyes and stopped looking at Huo Yao.
In an instant, everything was quiet in the lounge. Liu Qian looked at Huo Yao before glancing at Qi Hui without saying a word.

Wei Yong was standing in the parking lot waiting to receive the people from DO Corporation personally.
At 10:00 am sharp, a black car drove into the institute.
After the car pulled up, Wei Yong walked over and saw a tall foreigner getting off the driver’s seat. He was dressed in a dark suit. He wore a pin with DO Corporation’s logo on his chest.
The man walked around the car to the backseat, opened the door, and stood reverently waiting for his boss to get off the car.
A solemn look emerged on Wei Yong’s face. He recognized the foreigner since he was usually sent whenever they worked with DO Corporation. He already knew the man was in a high position.
Judging from the way he behaved, he could not help thinking about the person sitting in the car and wondering about his identity. He must be very important.
No wonder the man dared to openly turn down his suggestion for dinner last night.
As Wei Yong contemplated, the man sitting in the car finally got off.
A very good-looking man in his twenties had gotten out of the car. His suit jacket was unbuttoned and he was wearing a brightly colored printed shirt inside. Also, a gleaming silver bracelet could be seen on his wrist.
He did not seem like someone from the IT industry. Instead, he resembled a supermodel straight off the catwalk.
Wei Yong was very surprised, but he composed himself. Wei Yong was not reacting in such a manner to his image. Instead, he was surprised about his age since the man was unusually young. He stepped forward unhurriedly and reached his hand out. “How do you do? I’m Wei Yong. I’m in charge of the project. Welcome.”
The young man nodded and touched Wei Yong’s hand slightly before pulling his hand back.
Wei Yong did not take it to heart and promptly gestured for him to follow him. “We can talk inside.”
The young man acknowledged softly before walking beside Wei Yong.
Before long, they arrived at the conference room. Wei Yong told his assistant to make tea before he smiled and asked. “How should I address you?”
J’s assistant glanced at his boss before he said in fluent mandarin, “This is Mr. Meng.”
Wei Yong nodded. It was a rare family name.
J’s assistant had already retrieved a laptop from his briefcase. He put his presentation up on the projector and proceeded to introduce the system to Wei Yong without wasting any time.
J quietly sat in front of the table as he tapped his fingers on the table every now and then. He could not help thinking about the text messages.
How did he offend the guy?
He had been thinking about it ever since last night and even told his subordinate to investigate recent dealings in the company, but he was unable to make any headway.
He did not understand why she blacklisted him out of the blue without even giving any reason.
