Chapter 1883 Black Jade Goes Missing
Yang Yi inexplicably knew what Huo Yao meant by the flag on the GPS map even though they were not talking over the phone.
"City C?" Zhuo Yun sounded puzzled. "Why City C ?"
Even though the plane did not meet with any accident, there were other flights to choose from. Why did Miss Huo choose City C?
What if the plane stopped in some other city on the way?
Min Yu rapped his fingers on his knee intermittently. After some time, he said, "Go to City C and get in touch with our men there to check."
Zhuo Yun turned to look at his boss. Just as he was about to speak, he thought about the things Miss Huo had just sent, and the words at the tip of his tongue got stuck.
He took out his phone to make a call.
Yang Yi got up to enter the cockpit.
If Huo Yao was right about the plane location, according to the flight route, Prof Min and the others would arrive in three to four hours or sooner.
No matter what, they could only hope nothing would happen to them.
Huo Yao turned off the laptop and turned to look out the French windows. It was already dark outside. The lights in the estate illuminated in the dark.
After sending a text message, she got up, went to the wardrobe, took out a coat to slip it on, and left the room.
When Huo Yao got to the staircase, she paused and turned around. She did not go back to her room. Instead, she went to Shangguan Tong's room.
Huo Yao knocked on the door gently. After some time, she did not get a reply.
Huo Yao pondered as she reached her hand to open the door. The door was unlocked, so she pushed open the door and headed inside.
Huo Yao came out of the room two minutes later. Her loose-fitting coat was open. Even if she was hiding something under the coat, it could not be seen.
Before long, Huo Yao went downstairs.
At this moment, the wall lights in the living room were on. The maids and servants had gone to rest, so it was very quiet.
Huo Yao left the villa completely undetected. Even when she got to the entrance, the security failed to notice her presence at all.
When Huo Yao got to the roadside, a car drove over before long and pulled up right in front of her. She opened the backseat car door and got in.
As swiftly as the car came, it disappeared through the streets.

The next morning, Shangguan Tong sat down in front of the dresser after washing up. When her eyes landed on the mirror, she suddenly froze.
A second later, she quickly walked up in front of the wardrobe to the right and opened its partially opened door. A stack of drawers could be seen inside which could be secured by a lock.
Shangguan Tong took the key, opened the cabinet, and opened the drawer right at the bottom.
The drawer was completely empty.
The box containing the black jade was missing.
Shangguan Tong froze. She opened the other drawers to check. After some time, she went out of the room looking annoyed.
The old butler was downstairs talking to the staff. When he saw Shangguan Tong coming down, he greeted her reverently, "Morning, Miss Tong."
Shangguan Tong nodded and asked, "Did anyone enter my room to clean up?"
The old butler did not know why she was asking, but he shook his head quizzically. "No, I haven't. You said not to let anyone enter the room, and I told the staff about it."
He paused and asked quizzically, "Is something wrong?"
Shangguan Tong looked at the old butler and knew he was not lying. She simply said, "Nothing."
Someone other than the staff must have touched the drawer.
Shangguan Tong pondered and asked, "Oh yes. Is Yaoyao up?"
