Chapter 3650 Madness
A surprise was the last thing I had seen on his face when I felt my mind fading, till there is nothing oblivion.
I don't know, how long I had been in the oblivion when I felt my thoughts coming back. I opened my eyes after some struggle, only to find myself in a familiar place.
I am in the lanis plaza, the biggest plaza in the city right in front of the governor's palace. Sitting in the formation, made of those strange symbols I had seen in that bloody temple. When I looked around, a sheer horror couldn't help but appear in my eyes. I saw the whole city being covered under these symbols.
The lamps connected to each other through these strange, purplish symbols. Covering the whole city with it. The people everywhere, many unconscious. Some are becoming conscious, and with the same horror as me appearing on their faces. They might not understand what it is, but they understand is not good.
A very soul shudders when one sees these symbols.
It seemed like; I was sitting in the center of the formation along with twenty-four people. All Earth Sovereigns, except for the two Sky Sovereigns.
The vice-governors.
The governor is also present, behind him six Sky Sovereigns. Two of which are vice-governors, including vice-governor Shan, whom I had seen just morning; it is clear by the looks, that she is in cahoots with Governor Mozan.
The four others are unfamiliar, but like the governor and two vice-governors; their bodies too are painted in strange symbols.

I was looking at them when the governor seemed to sense my gaze and turned to me.
"I am quite angry with you, Smith. You forced me to take my plans forward," he said, looking at me with clear anger.
"Why? Why are you doing this?" I asked and to my surprise, instead of getting angry, he smiled. The smile made me shudder, raising all the hair on my body; I recognized this smile. It is the smile of the devil, a person who had lost his morality, in the mad pursuit. I had come across many people like this.
"Why, you ask me? The answer is simple, power," he replied, with the smile on his face widening.
The other behind him smiled as well, while all those listening shuddered visibly in despair. Knowing there is no getting out of this.
They too, understood. He had lost himself in the lust of power.
"I had been millennia since I had come to this world. Nine hundred years since I reached my current stage, where, I barely made any progress,"
"I was born with nothing in my world, but I became its ruler, crushing everything that came in my path, till no one remained." "I was a prodigy, and I showed that talent here in this prime world too, when I was able to reach Peak of Sky Sovereign from Initial Sovereign within a century," he said with a smile before that smile disappeared and his expression turned worse.
"It is then, that I reached the limit of the talent; I couldn't go further, no matter the method I practice, the resources I consume."
"So, I beg those bastards of realms to take me at chances, I got, but every one of them refused me. Me, who has the potential to crush the world itself? All I needed was a chance, and those bastards refused to give it to me!"
He was shouting at the end, with madness filling his eyes.
"So, I went to those who are willing," he said, with burning madness.
"You are willing to sacrifice millions of people for it. Members of the organization, that had given you so much?" I asked, and the faint hesitation appeared in his eyes before the madness took over it.
"Yes, all of you are ants. If your sacrifice to shining one, could make me a Prime, then I am willing to make tens of such sacrifices," he replied madly.
"You will not be able to get away with it," said vice-governor Brezi from the other side. "Do you think, Tor will rescue you?" he asked back with a laugh.
"They didn't even know what was happening. This bastard might have warned them, but I had stopped him before he could and even if he had told them, it would take them a while to reach here,"
"By that time, you all will be in the embrace of shining one and I will be Prime," he said, without any fear.
"Golden Prime's could reach here in seconds. Some Silver Primes, in an hour," she said and the smile on the governor's face turned mocking.
"I had told you to get familiar with the organization's rules, but it seemed like, you didn't, Brezi," he said, shaking his head.
"Even if they know something is going on. At most, they will be sent a Prime; they never send Silver Prime or Golden Prime, unless they have complete information about the threat," he explained.
I hate to admit it, but he is right.
Tor is strict about these procedures. Unlike other organizations, we hunt cultists and other menaces of society, and sometimes, those menaces want to take revenge.
To minimize the risks, there is a strict procedure to deal with dangers. It is a little rigid but saves the lives of powerhouses.
"You will not be able to get away with it, Moraz. They will hunt you down like a dog and kill you," she said and spat.
"Hahaha…" "You are too optimistic, Brezi. I know, tor works and already made the preparations. Once I do with it, I will disappear without leaving a single trace behind," he said confidently.

"Moraz, a shining one, didn't like it when their sacrifice arent in perfect conditions," said Swam Beastwoman and flashed beside me and gripped my jaw hard, bringing me more pain, but a moment later, she released the energies in me.

I wanted to resist them, but I didn't; I let them flow into me and heal the minor injury.

The beastwomen let go of my jaw a couple of seconds later and joined the others, speaking under the privacy cover.
Time passed and twenty-one minutes and seven seconds later, the red-skinned man, opened his mouth and spoke words, that made everyone shudder in fear.
