Mykael was relieved that everything was going well on their side and he was happy that they could keep a semblance of normality with everything that was happening to them.

He then told Axel that he would join them to continue to train them after having verified that on Colin’s side all was going well with Ian, because it was imperative that Ian could absorb these 3 black pills and that his state be stabilized by tomorrow morning, otherwise they would be in real trouble if he is unable to fight.

…………

In the world ruled by the Titans, Miguel was giving a summary of what they had discovered last night to his men by telepathy while they were being escorted by the same Titans as the day before directly to the arena.

What lay behind the second impenetrable barrier was just as spectacular as the prison and its laboratory guarded by Giants, and Lilith’s army, because it was an area where they were preparing their military arsenal.

There were many forges which were fed directly by the lava of volcanoes and where they melted a lot of Verarium and Corium and crafted a lot of weapons.

They also tested their weapons there and finally they had found a secret passageway by following some Titans who looked like scientists and this had led them straight to an underground base where these Titans were preparing everything to be able to create weapons of mass destruction when they would receive the Acrium.

Few Gods knew how to melt Acrium and then shape it so that the ore would either be deprived of its natural intelligence or its natural intelligence would be used to make a weapon that was capable of evolving.

Kevin’s system that Mykael had told them about was a perfect example of a divin artifact capable of evolving, as for the Chains of Restraint Elias had created, they were limited only by the imagination of their user and their power would adapt to their master’s. They were also linked to their master’s emotionality, which showed that the Acrium used to craft them still had its own intelligence.

But according to the plans they had found, Lilith, Cassandra and Diana had only collected information that allowed them to totally suppress the intelligence of this ore and only exploit its extraordinary power.

Miguel had sent Glen and Malo back to their base in the plane of existence reserved for the God so that they could both read the information they had found and summarize it for them when they would return, and he had sent Tarik and Lanis to look for Cassandra.

When they arrived in the arena they all had a impassive expression on their faces even though they now knew who they were dealing with.

And Elias immediately noticed two things, that this time there were no spectators in the stands and that the young Titan that Isaac had asked them to save was unconscious in the middle of the arena with his hands tied behind his back with chains probably made of Corium because the wounds his body was covered with didn’t seem to heal.

He immediately warns Miguel to be ready to intervene and he told Isaac through their link, ‘Don’t worry, this is the chance we’ve been waiting for to free that Titan, so trust us and keep your cool.’

Isaac then said to him, ‘You should be the one not to worry General… Elias, brother, I’ve been by your side for so long that I have complete confidence in you, in both of you, and that whatever decision you and Miguel would make, I know you would do it to protect the greater good, I will always follow your command.’

He added so that Elias would not feel guilty if something went wrong, ‘Jordan knew he was going to die and what he wanted was not to be used to start the war, that was the most important for him.’

Miguel then told him via their link, ‘Since you asked us to save him I need a diversion for a few seconds, and Isaac, I’m not talking about explosions, don’t do anything to make us suspicious.’

Isaac only said, ‘Just tell me when, I have already the perfect diversion.’

Elias then walked over to Jordan and he stopped a few feet away from him before asking the Emperor of the Titans who was standing in his box overlooking the arena: “What does that mean, aren’t our men supposed to be fighting ?”

Chaos smirked and then he said to him: “I thought starting the day with an execution would be fun… This Titan was sentenced to death for treason, his attack could have killed many innocent Titans and maybe even killed your man if he hadn’t had those excellent reflexes…”

Elias raised his hand and he then said to him: “I’m sorry but I have no time to waste, today is the last day we can spend here, so how about we get started.”

Elias made his golden flames appear in his hands and he threw them on this Titan who began to scream awakened by the pain and only a few moments later he fell silent again and Isaac who had just received the order of Miguel then began to sneeze violently, which startled everyone and drew their attention to him because as the arena was almost empty the sound of his sneeze had been amplified by the echo.

Then he also swore loudly to keep the attention on him and to make his act even more believable he sneeze again even more violently than before and finally he took out a handkerchief and pretended to blow his nose. Fortunately the Titans and even that Diana didn’t know that Warrior Spirits couldn’t get sick.

He heard Miguel laughing in his head and said to him, ‘Always a smart-ass, Isaac, now Elias will have to send you back. I gave a healing potion of divine grade to your Titan but the wounds inflicted by Elias’ golden flames will still take time to heal, so be patient, this is the best we could do.’

Isaac thanked him and Elias then opened a portal in front of him telling him to go home to rest, and of course this portal led him straight into the prison dimension where Jordan was there unconscious, his body still burned by the golden flames but fortunately he could see that Miguel’s healing potion was already starting to work and at least he didn’t seem to be in pain now.

Isaac sighed and bent down to take him in his arms, he also picked up the chains made of Corium that Miguel had broken, and he then used the power of his stage 2 to create a force field around Jordan and he teleported them into Elias’ palace which was directly connected to this prison dimension.
