Vacily opened his eyes wide and he said dumbfounded : “Unless you’re that mage who should have been Lilith’s human bomb…”
When he saw a smirk on his face he knew he was right, so this hybrid that Lilith had created had finally been chosen by this world to become the new King of the demons.
Vacily took a quick look at those who had accompanied him, the demons weren’t the threat though, none of them were a match for him, but he wasn’t naive.
Even Lilith’s favorite warrior had been killed by this kid and he had felt the change in power in this werewolf who shared the mark of the Union with him.
Had he turned into a divine creature ? Yet werewolves were legendary creatures so was it even possible to do so, may be it was something else… And that wasn’t all, there was also this man who had appeared when the other two had temporarily disappeared, and this man was a very powerful God, more powerful than Lilith.
He had felt his threatening aura when this kid was fighting against Lilith’s favorite warrior, he had no chance to get out alive against them and he knew it very well.
Even if he managed to kill this Drakonit, those who accompanied him could kill him without effort, escape was now his only option and fortunately the wife of his Emperor before sending him on a mission here had provided him with a transdimensional teleportation talisman that would allow him to return home.
Now he just had to wait for the right time to use it, and if he wanted to get home and be able to survive after his failed mission here, then he had to bring them something that would keep him alive.
Ian had seen the furtive look that this Titan had given to Liam and the others and he must have realized that he wouldn’t make it out alive this time, and so he decided to use the fact that he must be disturbed right now to start attacking him.
He did as Colin said and kept a high concentration of fire and darkness particles around him, then he pulled out his two short swords before charging this Titan, and he said to him as he parried his sword strikes easily : “So Vacily, soldier of the royal guard of the Emperor of the Titans, how does it feel to know that you have failed in your mission.”
As expected the fact that he knew his name and title thanks to Kevin’s system took him by surprise and he took advantage of having destabilized him to thrust his short sword made with Trinium into his right shoulder.
His advantage was short-lived and Vacily managed to punch him in the face and send him flying several meters away from him, luckily the particles of fire and darkness protected him and so they lessened the power of the blow.
Vacily looked at his fist that had just been burned by the mixture of fire and darkness particles that had seemed to act as a shield around the Drakonit, and as he put his hand on the short sword that he had stuck in his shoulder to remove it he then screamed in pain because he had just been struck by lightning… No, that wasn’t right thought Vacily, he had not been struck by lightning, it was rather as if every parts of his body was being electrified.
With a great effort he managed to remove that sword from his shoulder and he threw it far away from them, he couldn’t use that short sword because it was made of Trinium and that Drakonit was a very powerful mage, holding that sword in his hand was like holding a bomb ready to explode, and he wouldn’t give him that pleasure.
But Ian immediately retrieved his sword using spiritual energy to catch it and drag it to him and he could see that Vacily was getting really pissed off.
This Titan hadn’t even realized that thanks to the temporary paralysis he’d had because of the water and lightning particles, even if it had only lasted a few seconds, darkness particles had taken advantage of it to infiltrate his wound which was now completely healed.
And even if they were not numerous, and that they would be insufficient to kill him because of his high capacity of regeneration, they were going to act like a poison devouring his entrails from the inside.
Ian smirked, having a high regeneration capacity wasn’t always an advantage because it wouldn’t eliminate the particles of darkness that was in his organism, and this Titan was going to be devoured from the inside again and again.
He then moved away from Vacily, and positioned himself at the other end of the arena, he said to Liam using the telepathic link that had formed between them over the last few days, ‘My little wolf, get everyone ready, I’m going to use a very powerful spell.’
Liam then said to him, ‘Do what you have to do, here we are protected by the most powerful person in the universe so don’t be afraid to use your powers.
Ian smirked, it was true, he had to trust the people who protected his friends a little more, so he pulled out several Talismans and immediately released the particles of fire, darkness and wind they contained.
The particles in the arena weren’t enough to create irreparable damage to this Titan, he needed to use a lot more for that if he wanted to win this duel.
Fortunately for him, Colin before he absorbed the last black pill had reminded him of the importance of this detail and he had provided him with many Talismans that were charged with particules of all elements, even some of light and darkness.
Now he was going to create a storm of fire and darkness and he was going to mix in some black particles to test their effectiveness, and the advantage of creating a storm was that he didn’t have to control it, it would do all the work for him.
Vacily could see that this Drakonit was much more powerful than he had suspected at first, he had faced Drakonits before but this one was different, he was on a whole other level, and he knew that he absolutely had to stop him from forming this spell or he might not survive this time.
And while he wanted to rush at him using his chakra to increase his speed, he suddenly felt an excruciating pain and he started to spit blood almost falling to his knees from the pain.
Fortunately this discomfort only lasted a few seconds before his regeneration ability healed him but he paled when he realized what it meant.
Vacily was from the first generation of Titan, so he had already suffered all sorts of injuries and he could recognized this one right away.
