Elias nodded and immediately removed his barrier, and Jordan then stepped forward with his hands outstretched in front of him to control the particles of the various elements that the explosion had left in the air, and he directed them mercilessly at the bodies of the two Giants, which then caught fire and eventually disintegrated, leaving only two completely black crystals behind them.
When Jordan had finished dissipating the remaining particles of fire and darkness and had stored the remaining black particles in a reserve he had created for them, everyone joined him and they approached the two black crystals curiously.
Elias then looked at Jordan and he asked him for confirmation : “Are these crystals really filled with black particles ?”
Jordan approached one of the crystals and when he wanted to put his hand on it to check the amount of black particles that were stored inside, Isaac stopped him and he asked him worried : “Is it really safe to touch it like that ?”
He showed him his hand, which was still healing from the burn of the darkness particles he had received, and Jordan then said to him : “This is different, Isaac, earlier your hand came into direct contact with the darkness particles, and that is why you were burned.
But here, as Elias already understood, these crystals are full of black particles and they are stored inside them, there is no risk, take one in your hand if you want to check.”
Isaac immediately took a crystal in his hand and when he was sure that there was really no danger he asked him curiously : “So this crystal is like the other energy crystals, can you also by meditating absorb the black particles that are inside ?”
Jordan took the crystal from his hand and he said : “Let me check it before you ask me any questions.”
Elias chuckled and he said to Isaac : “Jordan knows what he’s doing so relax a bit… And besides, if something happened to him, Miguel would be very upset with me, so stop worrying for nothing, I won’t let him get hurt.”
That was easier said than done, thought Isaac, and Jordan then handed the crystal back to him and he said while looking at Elias : “The concentration of black particles inside is equivalent to three black pills that Lilith can form… It’s really amazing and terrifying, just imagine the power these crystals can contain.”
Elias took the crystal from Isaac’s hands and went to pick up the other one, then he stored them both in the dimension he shared with Miguel before telling Jordan : “I’d rather talk to Miguel first, he’s the one who handles everything concerning the mages.”
Jordan nodded, and Elias then suddenly asked him a little embarrassed, because after all it was already Jordan who had killed the Giants and none of his Warrior Spirits could have given him that kind of information about the crystals : “Before we keep moving, can you check the walls ?”
Jordan, who remembered that this was indeed one of the reasons why he had been allowed to accompany them, moved away from their group and placed his hands against the rock wall.
He used his earth element and spread it through the rock, but it was so dense that it was very difficult to extend his field of action, he had to reposition himself regularly on the walls to be able to cover all the surface of this room.
And in the end, after having checked the ground too, he said to Isaac and Elias who had stayed close to him : “There is nothing here, but honestly the walls of this dungeon are extremely dense, even if I could find something, I’m not sure that I could extract it.”
Elias patted him on the shoulder and he asked him as he saw the sweat on his forehead : “Don’t worry about it, if you can’t do it, it’s fine, Miguel will come and extract it… Jordan, is it mental fatigue or because you used too much Soul force that you are exhausted ?”
Jordan quickly wiped the sweat from his forehead and he honestly told him : “Both.”
Elias then handed him one of the potions that Ian had given them for mental fatigue and he said to him : “Drink this, it will restore your strength and also take a healing potion of legendary grade, Kevin can get it at will so don’t hesitate… And otherwise, in the next room, I’m afraid you’ll have to stay close to me.”
Jordan thanked him and he immediately drank the potion he had just given him and Isaac in turn handed him a healing potion of legendary grade telling him that Miguel always gave them a substantial supply before each mission and so he had hundreds of them.
Jordan smiled as he gladly accepted, crafting potions were his big weakness and he really hated crafting them, on the contrary, he had always been fascinated by spells and he loved creating new ones… always more powerful.
So even though he had forced himself to continue crafting potions in order to be able to craft the healing potion of legendary grade, because it was a prerequisite to enter the service of the imperial palace in his home world, he only crafted them when he was asked to do so, and otherwise, for his own personal use, he preferred to buy them directly from a store.
At least now he was sure that he could continue to create new spells and forget about crafting potions, because his spells would undoubtedly be much more useful to support the Warrior Spirits.
And so, after drinking it, he finally felt better and they returned together to join the others who had finished picking up the bodies of the Elite Warrior Orcs and were waiting at the entrance to the huge tunnel.
They quickly traveled the distance to the second room and they widened their eyes when they saw that this time it was not Elite Warrior Orcs they had to face but General Orcs, and these Orcs were much more powerful than the first ones they had faced.
