564 An intruder in the room
Dilan chuckled and he told him, "Don't worry, I'll talk to them, I'll tell them that in the end I'm the one who set you up and you're the victim."
Phil laughed too and then he said, caressing Dilan back, "I will have to train much harder now, until I become much more powerful… I have no choice as I have to not only protect my King, but I have to protect my family as well."
Dilan then sighed and he said to him, "I'm sorry... I know it was selfish and irresponsible of me, but I'm the only one left here, you all are going to leave to fight the Titans and the Demons, and I have no idea if you would come back alive or not..."
Dilan kissed him before telling him, "I know you'll pretect Ian and Liam against all odds out there, but now at least I've given you a reason to look out for yourself, so I know you'll be more careful, as for my sons, they can protect themselves and their loved ones, so do not worry about them."
Phil then placed a shower of kisses on his face and he hugged him a little tighter before saying, "Trust me, I'm well aware that your sons can take care of themselves, so rest now Dilan, otherwise we'll really have to use that bag of medicinal herbs that Nolan so kindly gave us..."
Dilan chuckled in spite of himself and he told him, "Okay, then I'll rest now, but if you have to leave let me know."
He then added with a yawn, "I don't want to wake up alone tomorrow morning and not know where you are, okay?"
Phil promised him and soon after Dilan fell asleep in his arms.
As he had told Dilan, he was well aware that his sons were all unique.
Alan had been able to create an affinity with the Divine element Angelic and he shared a bond with Erik that allowed them to share their energy and always increase their power.
To realize how unique Alan and Erik were, one only had to know that after Elias and Miguel, they were the only couple who had developed this very special Dual Cultivation bond.
Then, there was Nolan and his truly unique ability that put him on par with the Demons who could use their demonic aura, but Nolan's ability didn't just allow him to increase his Stats, he could also 'steal' or 'borrow' any source of energy and condense it into a small ball that could do some really impressive damage.
As for his soulmate, Ashton would soon become a Priest so no, he wasn't really worried about them.
Moreover, these 4 were really close to Kevin and Axel and so he was sure that they would protect each other.
And finally there was Kelan, he might seem the weakest of Dilan's sons but there was nothing weak about him, his extraordinary intelligence was enough to make him even more formidable than his brothers.
And if that wasn't enough, his husband was Caleb, one of the first Warrior Spirits, the third one exactly, and only Elias, Miguel and the other Warrior Spirits of that time knew his true power.
The more he thought about this truly unique family, which was now his, the more he really didn't feel up to being Dilan's life partner.
Suddenly Phil sensed an intruder in the room and he immediately turned into a Drakonit, creating a shield of black particles around them, which immediately woke Dilan up.
Phil then relaxed when he saw that it was Caleb and Caleb said to him, "Sorry, I didn't expect you to stay with Dilan tonight but we have a general alert, Elias wants all the best of us to be ready and you're part of it so hurry up, I'll wait for you in the living room."
Phil just nodded and as Caleb disappeared, he looked at Dilan who said to him, "Hurry up, he's waiting for you, it must be serious for him to come and get you."
Phil then stood up and he quickly got dressed before leaning over to Dilan, saying, "I'll be back soon my love, so keep resting."
He then kissed him tenderly and left the room without looking back, he hadn't expected it to be so hard to leave Dilan but duty was calling him, now that he had chosen his side, he had naturally put himself under the command of Elias and Miguel like everyone else.
Caleb was waiting for him at the entrance of the living room and he immediately grabbed his left hand before saying to him after checking that it was really the mark of the Union, "What the hell Phil, what got into you to do that now... You should have waited until the war is over, don't you think so"
Phil then said to him, a little embarrassed, "If I told you that Dilan set me up and that I had no idea he wanted to verify that I was his soulmate, would you believe me?"
Caleb smiled then and he said to him, "Oh yes, our men are definitely resourceful... But seriously, Kelan isn't going to be too happy to see this mark, I'm warning you."
Phil sighed because he already knew that Dilan's sons weren't going to give them their blessing… not now anyways, and so he asked him, "What's going on?"
Caleb said to him just before teleporting them to the prison dimension where everyone was gathering, "The first and second Knights of Darkness have appeared in the world Mykael knew and provided us with this precious ore... We're going to face them and since they're not alone, we need backup."
When they arrived, Caleb went to check if everyone was there and Axel who was making a Vision Rune on everyone's wrist then looked at Phil's left hand and asked him smelling Dilan scent on him, "Is it really Dilan?"
Phil nodded feeling really awkward because it was new for him too, but Axel then patted him on the shoulder and he said to him, "Congratulations, I'm so happy for you guys."
