600 We better not disturb them
As Yelena struggled to extricate herself from the ground, because the mud was really pinning her down, Iris arrived and she lifted her up easily, placing her gently on the ground before asking her: "Yelly, how do you feel? Here, take this potion, it will heal your internal and external wounds and replenish your charka reserve."
Yelena then took the legendary grade healing potion that Iris was handing her and drank it in one go, and she let herself lean against Iris while the potion took effect.
Iris smiled as she felt Yelena lean against her and finally she asked her curiously: "Why didn't you use the Cradle of Magic to replenish your chakra reserve, you would have won that fight if you had done that."
Julian had also joined them, but as a golden glow had appeared in Iris's eyes when he had wanted to get closer to check that Yelena was all right, he had preferred to keep his distance, but it didn't matter too much because Iris had done what was necessary to make sure that Yelena was fine, and she had even just asked her the question he also wanted to ask.
Yelena then said, feeling much better now: "Why would I do that, I was just fighting one of my teachers and not an enemy, I just wanted to show him my progress but I'm still too weak to beat him fairly... I couldn't even get close to him."
Iris sighed then and said, stroking her hair tenderly: "Yelly, Julian isn't crazy. He knew full well that despite his shield formed with the help of the earth element and his increased speed thanks to the wind particles, he wouldn't be a match for you if he had to fight you hand-to-hand... And as much as I'd like to beat the shit out of him right now, it was very clever from him to keep you at some lenght to avoid a direct confrontation."
Julian then said to her, still keeping his distance as to not upset Iris even more: "Yelena, the reason I was so hard on you was because I wanted to see for myself that you had mastered the energy you can draw from the Cradle of Magic, and that's why I tried to push you to your limits."
Yelena then looked at him and asked him: "If you're really worried professor, join us, we're going to loot some purple dungeons now, and over there, I don't hold back my blows."
Julian was hesitating, first because Iris didn't seem happy that he joined them and second, because he never looted a purple dungeon…
But Yelena was right and he would only be reassured when he could see her using the Cradle of Magic power and that nothing wrong would happen.
Iris then help Yelena up and they joined the rest of their group which were composed of Helena, Zak, and Chris.
Helena then asked Iris: "Should we proposed to Nolan and Ashton to join us?"
But Iris shook her head and she told her: "Nolan was badly hurt this morning and even though Axel told us that he and Ashton, who had been poisoned by black particles too because of Nolan, were now out of danger, it's still better for them to rest today."
Iris then told her: "By the way, after this traumatic experience I'm sure Nolan is enjoying his time with Ashton so we better not disturb them."
Helena nodded and she said: "You're right, so let's go only the 6 of us then."
Iris then took out from her magic bag a Teleportation Talisman and she opened it close to where the red dungeons were normally located because there were always a lot of purple dungeons around them.
Once they arrived close to the ancient border between the two territories, because it was where the red dungeons always appeared, Iris asked Yelena: "Are you sure you're all right now?"
Yelena then smiled at her and after taking her hand in hers she told her: "I'm perfectly fine, and as you can see, I still have a lot of progress to make so let's go and practise."
And as Iris, after having placed a kiss on Yelena's forehead, left first to guide them to one of the weakest purple dungeons in this area, Chris, who had been waiting for Helena, Yelena and Zak to go ahead, asked Julian hesitantly: "Professor, why are you so worried about Yelena?"
Julian looked at him as he put some distance between the rest of their group and them, and then he asked Chris instead: "Have you ever seen Yelena use all her powers... Do you usually go with them loot purple dungeons?"
Chris then told him honestly: "It's been 5 days since Kevin introduced me to Yelena and Ashton and since Ashton is Nolan's soulmate, they've let me go with them every time they go to loot purple dungeons.
Iris and Helena also taught me some fighting techniques so that I'm more efficient and can continue to fight even if my reserves of Soul Force are depleted.
I've learned a lot from them in a short period of time and I've also seen Yelena use her powers on several occasions."
Chris then said to him: "Honestly Professor, if Yelena had really used all the resources at her disposal, she would have crushed you easily... And you're also right to be a little worried about her, because sometimes Iris and Helena are forced to intervene and with a few well-placed blows, they manage to cut off the flow of energy flooding Yelena's body."
Julian said: "That's what I thought, and I hope that Iris and Helena are well aware of the dangers that Yelena's connection to the Cradle of Magic represents."
Helena then appeared beside them and she said to Julian with a teasing smile: "Julian, lucky for you I had placed a force shield around you... Are you feeling suicidal at the moment because in case you haven't noticed, Iris and Yelena are now together, so watch what you say when Iris is around."
