604 You just lack a bit of Stamina

Julian then used the bracelets that Colin had given him, which had the same function as a magic bag, and he started by conjuring up 10 water talismans and 10 wind talismans, which he placed all around the room using the spiritual energy.

When he released all the water particles that were contained in these talismans, he immediately created giant water snakes again which, thanks to the wind particles that he had also just released, simultaneously began to spit tons of ice spikes on all the orcs that were in that room.

But it wasn't enough, only the weakest of them had been killed by this attack and some others had been wounded, as for the strongest of the orcs, they had been able to avoid all the ice spikes that his giant water snakes had sent their way.

When the water snakes couldn't send any more ice spikes, he liquefied them and the room was flooded with water.

The orcs were knee-deep in water and Julian had made the water push them further into the room.

And when the orcs, who had already spotted him but hadn't been able to reach him, first because of the ice-spitting snakes and then because of all the water that had poured over them, started to move in his direction to kill him, Julian smiled and conjured up 10 new talismans, this time filled with lightning, using only two of them at first.

He sent the lightning particles he'd just released into the water, which electrified all the orcs in the room, because even though the orcs were trying to protect themselves by climbing onto the bodies of the other orcs that were already dead, they'd all gotten wet and so they all fell into the water completely paralysed once touched by this combined water-lightning attack.

At the same time, Julian had placed his remaining lightning talismans on top of the orcs and then he began to release lightning bolts all over the room.

After this attack, 80% of the orcs in the room had been killed in just a few minutes, and as he had hardly used his reserve of Soul force as he had only manipulated the particles contained in the Talismans, he conjured up 5 earth talismans again, still using his bracelets, and he sent all these earth particles towards the ground where the survivors were.

Sharp spikes came out of the floor to impale the survivors, and to finish them off, he used the same technique as in the first room and the 3 most powerful orcs who had managed to survive all his attacks until now, even if they were seriously injured, found themselves with ice spikes sank into their skulls without them even being able to get close to their opponent.

Julian then stretched, because even if he hadn't physically fought all those orcs, the concentration he had shown to be able to use all those Talismans had been mentally exhausting, and he said to the rest of the group who still hadn't returned from their astonishment after seeing that fight: "We can go now, the lightning particles aren't mixed with the water particles any more, it's safe."

Zak, who had never used talismans before but thought he had figured out how to use them, then asked: "Julian, do you have any earth talismans left, I'd like to try using them to see the difference between using my affinity with my element directly or using the particles contained in talismans."

Julian smiled at him and conjured up 2 earth talismans, saying: "The key to using talismans is to shape the particles that escape from them into whatever you want, it's quite easy to use and you don't use up much of your Soul force reserve using talismans to fight, but it also requires a lot of concentration so it's more mental exhaustion you need to watch out for."

Zak thanked him and he placed the two earth talismans over the corpses of the orcs, as he had watched Julian do, using the spiritual energy to place them exactly where he wanted.

And when he released the particles of earth contained in the talismans, as Julian had told him, he was able to shape them easily and thus created a bridge between where they were and the exit on the other side of the room, which would probably lead them into the room where the boss of this dungeon was.

Helena then said as she saw the bridge form in less than 20 seconds: "Zak, well done little one, I didn't particularly want to go through that pool of blood full of the stinking corpses of his creatures, so thank you so much."

Iris smiled too and said: "Julian, that was really impressive, with your skills you could come and fight with us... You just lack a bit of Stamina... And you need to learn to fight a bit too."

Julian then smiled at her as he motioned for her to move forward onto the bridge that Zak had just created: "Who says I don't know how to fight, I just don't like it... And when it comes to coming with you to fight the Titans, I'm afraid I'm not up to it, I don't want to be a burden to you and you know I won't be able to help you much out there."

Iris then said, moving forward: "That's what I thought, yes, but now I'm not so sure that you will be a burden for us…"

Julian then said to her, after being sure that Chris was following behind them: "If the worst happens, our world with all its resources will be one of the first to be attacked, so I'd be more useful staying here to help Dilan, Derek and Connor to protect our world."

Chris then grabbed his wrist and asked him, when Iris had gone to join Yelena: "Julian, you told me before that if I was interested in learning your techniques, you'd teach me, right?"
