Kevin wasn't able to enjoy this small victory as his trap triggered the rage of this Ancient God and in his vision he saw Sliman eat 2 black pills at once.
Kevin's blood froze in his veins as his vision continued, and he saw Axel's body being lacerated with blows from that Divine sword whose blade was now covered in black flames.
His wounds left black marks all over his body, spreading further and further, and although Axel continued to fight, he was now finding it difficult to parry Sliman's sword blows, as he had become far too powerful for him.
Then, he saw Sliman pierce Axel's energy reserve as he had told him he would, and the vision ended there.
His vision had only been quick flashes of what was about to happen and only a few seconds had passed, but then Kevin shouted, forgetting that he was still in the cave: "AXEL, COME BACK!"
But then Axel who had seen the same thing as him told him, in a determined tone, 'If I come back with you, then you'll all be in danger, and that's out of the question.'
Kevin knew that Axel coming back in the cave with them wasn't really an option, but seeing him injured and then die in his vision, had made him lose his mind and so he teleported outside right away.
If Axel wasn't going to take shelter then he too would fight, and as he didn't know how much time they had left before Sliman took those black pills, he had to act quickly.
Atlas and Solomon didn't even have time to ask him what was going on since Kevin was already gone, and Solomon clenched his hands around the pommel of his sword saying helplessly to Atlas: "There's really nothing we can do to help them, is there?"
Atlas shook his head, and told him: "Here, we don't have access to the prison dimension, so we can't teleport outside and my force field will take a while to absorb all of these black particles… In the meantime, we're trapped here."
Lena then said to them, placing a hand on one of their shoulders: "You can help them by killing these Summoners, that way they will be able to focus on this Ancient God.
I'll protect you from these black flames but don't dawdle there as I don't know how long my shield of light will last."
Atlas wispered Lena's name, and Lena actually did what she said, a shield of white light enveloped them and Atlas just nodded and motioned for Solomon to follow him.
The force field he had set up was a way of protecting them against their enemies' attacks, but in no way it was preventing them from getting out of the cave.
Kevin's Golden Chains let them pass too as a piece of them were already wrapped around their wrist, and so, under the protection of Lena's light shield, which not only protected them from the black flames but also boosted their Stats temporarily, then went outside to face the General Wizard and the 2 Elite Warrior Wizards.
As soon as Atlas and Solomon had left, Maya put a hand on her daughter's shoulder and said to her: "Lena, sweetie, do the same for your father and me and stay here to look after your sister."
But Lena shook her head and said: "No, Mum, you were unconscious not even an hour ago, it's too dangerous."
Peter then said to her, with a grave face: "Your mother's right, we're both used to fighting this kind of enemies, let us go and help them, everything will be fine."
Lena then bit her lower lip, because even though her powers were much more powerful than before, she was still completely unable to fight, so she said to them, granting their request and surrounding them with her light to protect them: "Go ahead, but be careful!"
Her mother then kissed her forehead and said: "Good girl, protect your sister until we get back."
Maya and Peter just like Atlas and Solomon had of course felt the burst of power that this Ancient God had just undergone and they could only hope that Axel and Kevin were powerful enough to fight against him.
Just when Kevin had teleported out of the cave to eliminate the General Wizard and the 2 Elite Warrior Wizards so that he could concentrate all his attention on Sliman, he saw, thanks to the Runes still active on his hand and forearm, that Sliman, after having managed to push Axel back, had just made these 2 black pills appear.
Kevin immediately teleported right next to Sliman and threw his Chains of Restraint at him, hoping to prevent him from swallowing them, but despite reacting almost instantly by teleporting in front of him and despite the speed of his Chains of Restraint, he failed and his Chains of Restraint were pushed back by the burst of power that Sliman was undergoing.
Sliman had gone from God level 8 to God level 10 and a swirl of black particles now surrounded him, rendering all his Chains of Restraint attacks completely useless against him.
Axel joined him and he said to him: "I'm sorry Babe, I wasn't careful enough."
Kevin then said to him: "You did your best, but right now you're not powerful enough to fight him… you have to leave to put them all in safety, go in the human territory and asked the Angels to help you, I will slow him down…"
But Axel then said to him, cutting him off: "I don't care what you have seen in your vision, I'm not going anywhere without you, and that's not negotiable. Look!"
Axel then showed him Atlas, Solomon, Peter and Maya who were fighting against the summoners and their summon creatures and he said to him: "Everyone is fighting, together we can do it."
Kevin then had another vision and Sliman was going to send a shock wave full of black particles that was going not only to hit them but Atlas and the others too.
