Ben emerged as a completely transformed creature. No longer a mere mosquito, he had evolved into a dreadwing mosquito.
With a sleek and menacing appearance, Ben's body was covered in iridescently crystallised black and red scales. His wings spanned wider, pulsating with an eerie crimson glow. The fangs that once fed on blood now possess razor-sharp edges, ready to pierce through any defence.
His legs were now thicker and sharper, if there was a natural blade embedded in them. Ben could also feel his size increase significantly. If he was the size of a ping pong ball at first, then now he stands larger than a tennis ball. With this size, Ben didn't know if he would even fall into the bug species category.
Ben's excitement soared to new heights. Unknown to himself, he was somehow feeling a sense of pleasure and satisfaction after this evolution. Ben was so energetic right now that if he were a human, he could run 10km without a break. "That's what you call a true monster... hahaha!"
Eager to explore his newfound powers, Ben activated his status screen once again to see the changes brought about by his evolution.

As Ben studied his new status, if used carefully, he would have a much easier time surviving in this world. It wasn't just his stats; his skills have also received a significant boost. It didn't take a geinus to guess that this evolution made him more of a fight-oriented creature.
It wasn't just Blood Needle skill; even his six legs had a sharp bladelike edge to them, which Ben could potentially use as a weapon.
"System, is there any skill description about blood needle skill?" Ben asked, looking at the red screen, and soon a long description of words appeared on it.
[Blood Needle: (Active Skill) With this skill, the user can shoot out a sharp needle made of blood aura, which causes a devastating demage. [Each time the host uses this skill, it will consume 0.5 points out of your HP.]

"The name says it all; it's pretty much a basic long-range attack skill in my arsenal." Ben thought that, reading the skill description, except for HP consumption on use, he could already imagine using the skill in all kinds of situations.
"Show me the rest of the skill description." Ben asked after he was done reading about the blood needle skill.
[Soul Drain: (Active Skill) This skill is used to obtain soul essence from a dead beast. This essence will be further used to generate EXP and soul weapons and ornaments.]
[To use this skill, you need to be within a radius of 2 meters of the enemy you killed yourself.]

[Mutatic Recovery: (Passive Skill) With the help of blood consumed, this skill can heal most of your wounds and help you recover your HP at a very fast rate.]

"So you basically want me to kill an enemy and obtain soul essence from it." Ben asked; he was completely aware of something like that that was about to happen. Killing was something considered taboo in the modern world, but here, it was just a part of nature.
Ben understood his condition and this world very well. He wasn't a moron to fight for justice in the world of survival; he needed to get himself a life and complete the third quest. And he will do it, no matter what it takes.
"If I have to kill something, then I will start with a creature who attempted to kill me first." Ben declared before he took off that he was flying with incredible speed and balance compared to before. And with his new speed, it didn't take more than a minute to find his target again.
"You're right there!" Ben observed the fist-sized black mutant spider with green dots on its body. The spider was still feeding on some other insect that had fallen into its web. Ben observed the spider's actions very closely.
Devicing a plan in his head, his blood needle skill was able to attack within 5 meters of range, which means Ben could attack the spider even after flying far from its web. His mosquito buzz skill might also play a very great role in the confrontation; together with these two skills, defeating the spider shouldn't be tough.
He launched himself into the air with a flap of his enhanced wings. Unknown to the spider, who was feeding on its prey, Ben sneaked behind it, unleashing a powerful buzz that disoriented and stunned the spider.
Without wasting a single second, Ben took advantage of the situation and flew around the stunned spider, still keeping his distance. With a quick assessment of the vital parts of the spider, Ben decided to target the spider's head.
