Chapter 260 - Bitten By An Ant

"No. Why do you ask that? Do I look like a sick?" Monica even asked back.

Bryana changed her position so she was lying next to Aidyn who was silent playing with her hat that was removed while staring at the leaves above her which was about 20 meters away because the tree was very tall. "You look pale, and usually you always get up early to make breakfast for Raymond."

"I'm fine, Bryana. I'm just sad because I miss the atmosphere of Bandung and Jakarta. It's quiet here, lucky to have Calvin and Sofia who came for a vacation," said Monica showing sadness.

Bryana sighed, holding out her hand so the camera could show both herself and Aidyn. "I hope they don't bother you or Raymond."

"No, of course not. I like their presence here. By the way, Aidan's cheeks already look chubby. He's fat and looks healthy as if he wasn't a premature baby." Monica's attention was turned to Aidyn who was now sucking his thumb.

"Yes, he is healthy by drinking only breast milk." Bryana pointed his camera at the atmosphere of the park and said, "I'm in Bandung right now. I'm at the park that you recommended."

"Sure ...I want to go there!"

Bryana again pointed her smartphone camera at her and showed her a new necklace decorated with princess pendants and dancing bodyguards. "It's a present from Dean . . . And there's more."

Dean who was beside Bryana blushed because his wife was so proud of the necklace he gave her. The man was lying on Aidan's right side but his head was almost in contact with Bryana's who was lying on Aidyn's left.

"Oh, I'm so jealous. I hope that when it's my birthday, Raymond will give you a gift no less memorable than yours."

Bryana chuckled at having managed to make Monica jealous. She turned her head to look at Dean who was beside her, then pointed the camera at him. "Talk to her," she cried.

"Monica..don't forget to give your husband a night even though you're pregnant. Let him not be different!" Dean exclaimed with an amused smile then kissed Bryana's cheek.

"You perverted brain!" said Monica with an amused smile.

The chat in the video call lasted for several minutes until Dean disconnected the video call because Aidyn was crying.

Bryana sat up and immediately picked up Aidyn who was crying so loudly spontaneously. She checked several areas of her son's body, even Dean panicked.

"Honey why? Was he bitten by ants or mosquitoes?" Bryana even took off the sweater that Aidyn was wearing so that she only wore a white undershirt with a small star pattern.

"Could there be ants here ... hasn't the place been cleaned?" Dean panicked until he found red ants in his son's stomach. "Oh my God. There are indeed ants."

Dean immediately took the ant and killed it!

"Poor my dear," Bryana looked pityingly at Aidyn who was sobbing even though her eyes were full of tears. She immediately tried to calm the tiny baby by giving him breast milk. It only took a few seconds, the baby was silent and focused on feeding. "Get some oil in the bag," she exclaimed, looking at Dean.

Dean immediately took the oil and opened it, then poured it into Bryana's hand to be rubbed on their baby's stomach which was red from the ant bite earlier.

"He just shut up with just the milk," Dean muttered, looking at Aidyn in relief.

"A mother's powerful weapon when her baby cries are breast milk. Therefore, once a mother is obliged to breastfeed her baby," Bryana said calmly.

Dean rubbed Aidyn's head with his firm hand. he saw that the baby seemed to enjoy the delicious milk, even his head was sweating until his hair looked damp. He turned to look at Bryana who neither hesitated nor was embarrassed to breastfeed her son in public to calm down the child.

"You're good," he said proudly.

"Good, what do you mean?" Bryan asked.

"I often see a woman who prefers to give formula milk to her baby because she is lazy to breastfeed, busy reasons, and many other reasons but you, you even breastfed him even though you weren't healthy at first after the accident, even willing to breastfeed him even though your body will be a little thin, breastfeeding him in a place like this to make him calm... You are the great mother!" Dean said as he looked at Aidyn who was suckling, then looked at Bryana and brushed her hair that covered her slightly sweaty forehead.

Bryana sighed, looking at Dean who admired her too much. "Everyone has different views, different reasons. some don't breastfeed their babies because the baby doesn't want to, or can't produce enough milk. But luck is with me. I can produce enough milk, and my baby doesn't refuse even after tasting formula."

"And what I like about you, you don't forget your obligations as a mother even though you can hire a babysitter, then focus on fixing yourself after giving birth," said Dean as he opened the cassava snack that had been provided on the table.

"Because I want my son to stay close to meI often see, many children are closer to the babysitter than this biological. I don't want to be like that, and breastfeeding is an obligation, making the bond between mother and child stronger," Bryana explained, buttoning her shirt back because she was finished breastfeeding.

"No wonder Calvin always wants to be with you even though he was raised by Lauren," Dean said with a nod of understanding.

"Since my baby took care of it until I decided to hire Lauren after I stopped breastfeeding," Bryana explained then handed Aidyn to Dean.

"I am thirsty. hold him and don't get bitten by the ants again."

Dean smiled amusedly and turned to look at Aidyn who looked adorable wearing only pants and an undershirt. "You're sweating a lot. Are you very full after feeding, hmm? So cute!!" Dean kissed his son.

"Don't kiss too often when he's full. He can throw up," Bryana exclaimed.

"Eh, is that so? Do I stink?" asked Dean in surprise, even inhaling his scent.

"Not really, but... I don't know. I've seen that happen to Calvin when he was a baby. Alex kissed him after he was full and then threw up," Bryana replied with an unsure look.

Dean nodded in understanding and sat Aidyn on his lap leaning on his stomach. "Does Alex love Calvin the way I love Aidyn?" he asked.

Briana took a deep breath, then answered. "He looks so love. But to me that affection is useless because it's all fake. He just wants a treasure. Though... I don't accept him as he is. Even his extended family is not very close to me because he never introduced me as a wife."

"Why is he like that?" asked Dean in surprise.

"Because what his family knows is, Elsa is his future wife," Bryana replied, bending her face.

"I'm too stupid to fall in love with a man like him."

"Do not regret it. because of him, you have Calvin who is always your inspiration," Dean exclaimed with a warm smile. "And now there's me, Aidyn, and Sofia. Aren't you happy with the current situation? This time?"

"Yeah, I'm happy." Bryana nodded steadfastly and tried to forget her bitter memories with Alex. She kissed the adorable Aidyn, then kissed the handsome Dean.
