Chapter 312 - Divorce Elsa
Louis drove the car to the hospital where Alex was swamped, of course, he was with Elsa who was sitting in the back seat.
Elsa was silent in a state full of question marks. Because all he knows is that Alex went to Bryana's house, and now he's even more critical. did she think maybe her husband had a fight with Bryana or Dean and got hurt and critical?
"Louis. What happened to Alex? Why did he get so critical?" Elsa asked.
"He was shot while helping Dean save Mrs. Bryana from Fin," answered Louis, still focused on driving.
"What? Help save Bryana?" Elsa looked surprised. Her concern for Alex turned into annoyance because it turned out that her husband was willing to be hurt for the sake of his ex-wife. 'He's crazy and doesn't think about what will happen to Haikal or me if he dies! It's better if I Divorce him and choose Carlos who loves me more sincerely without any shadow of another woman!' she thought selfishly.

Upon arrival at the house, Bryana was immediately greeted by Calvin and Sofia, and all the residents of the house who knew about the kidnapping incident this afternoon. She was in the living room with them and went straight to her mother-in-law who was carrying Aidyn.
"Mom... Is she cranky?" Bryana asked, reaching for Aidyn to carry. She looked sadly at her little son who was looking at her with teary eyes like he had been crying.
"Aidyn kept crying. That's why he had to give a pacifier," Calvin replied.
"Did you help calm him down?" asked Dean who was standing by Bryana.
"No, Dad. Calvin is crying because he's worried about mom. He's been bothering Aunty Lauren and the others," Sofia said in a shrill voice.
"Because I love mommy!" Calvin confirmed, then put his arm around his mother's waist.
"Aidyn wasn't crying because he asked for milk. Mom and the others had already given him the milk you provided in the fridge, trying to calm him down, but she kept crying. Maybe because he know you were in danger..he can feel what you feel," Lily explained while stroking Aidyn's brownish-black hair.
Bryana was so devastated. Feeling guilty then she looked at Aidyn who had been just staring at her while sucking a transparent pacifier. "I'm sorry, honey." Bryana kissed the baby and hugged him.
"You'd better take Aidyn to your room so he can accompany you to rest," said Lily.
"Yes, mom." Bryana nodded.
Dean immediately led Bryana to their private room through the stairs followed by Calvin and Sofia who of course we're still worried about their mother who looked worried.
"Oiya, why didn't I see Haikal? Isn't he here?" Bryana asked, walking slowly up the stairs. "I've asked Samuel to take him to the hospital with his babysitter because Elsa was on the way to the hospital when we were on the way home earlier," Dean explained then glanced at Calvin and Sofia who had already arrived upstairs right in front of him.
"Did you guys study tonight?" he asked.
"I'll study after chatting with Mommy," Sofia replied followed by Calvin's nod.
Dean and Bryana arrived upstairs and immediately entered the room with all their children who immediately climbed into bed.
"After this, you have to study and mommy also has to rest," Dean exclaimed.
"Yes, dad," Calvin and Sofia said at the same time. They turned to stare at their mother who lay breastfeeding Aidyn while her father rushed to the bathroom.
"Did mom get hit by the kidnapper?" Calvin asked. He saw that his mother's face was bruised and there were wounds on her hands and feet.
Bryana just nodded with tears in her eyes remembering the incident and looked at her children who were worried about her.
"He must be very rude. Mommy must be patient and don't cry anymore," Sofia said then crawled over to her mother's feet and massaged them. Calvin followed what Sofia was doing until their mother fell asleep comfortably along with their younger sibling who was still sucking their mother's nipples.

Arriving at the hospital, Elsa walked with Louis down the hospital corridor which looked deserted. She met with Anna who brought Haikal with Samuel. She immediately grabbed her son from the babysitter's arms and carried him, kissing him but the son was crying instead.
"Honey, it's mommy. Why don't you want to be carried by mommy?" Elsa looked at Haikal in surprise.
"Da... Da!" Haikal instead called his father and looked around the hospital as if he was looking for his father's whereabouts.
Elsa sighed. "Okay, let's meet Daddy now."
Elsa continued her journey to the ICU while carrying Haikal followed by Louis and Anna.
Arriving at the ICU room, Elsa was invited in by the nurse who took care of Alex. She invited Haikal but did not invite Anna.
"You just wait outside!" cried Elsa curtly.
"Yes, Mrs," said Anna, lowering her head. She decided to wait in the front seat of the ICU room accompanied by Louis who seemed to be on the phone. Hmm, maybe calling Lauren.
Elsa looked sadly at Alex who was lying limply with droopy eyes. .her husband was already conscious but could not sit up, even turned his face away, as if he did not want to look at her.
"I didn't expect you to do something this stupid. Sacrificing your life for Bryana who never believed in your kindness...Don't you think about Haikal's fate if you die?" Elsa protested against Alex's actions.
"I have the right to do whatever I want... And you have no right to rule my life anymore!" Alex whispered with a look full of hatred.
Elsa exhaled roughly looking at Alex in surprise who was still acting curtly even though she was sick. "This is what I don't like about you, this is what makes me want to be with Carlos more than you. You never think about my feelings. You are even willing to sacrifice your life for that woman!"
"I'm doing this because of humanity, Elsa. This is what I must do as a human, and I know, maybe this is what God has outlined to atone for my mistakes in the past!" Alex asserted indignantly despite enduring the pain in his stomach as well as his heart.
"Just say you want to get her attention, make her feel sorry for you, and then she will treat you well. What a hypocrite!"
"I'm not like you, Elsa!"
"I can't believe it!"
"Okay!" Alex took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly. "What do you want now?" he asked.
"Divorce me," Elsa cried.
Alex smiled faintly again turning his face, staring at the ceiling of the room which is a silver ceiling. "Without you asking, actually I would have divorced you. I don't want to have a wife who has been touched by another man..it's so disgusting!"
"Watch your word, Alex!" growled Elsa.
"And you don't even take care of my feelings, don't keep your honor as a wife by giving your body to my friend," said Alex. "You and Carlos are traitors!"
"Yes. We are traitors, but that's how we are happy!"
"Okay. If you guys are happy, stay together. I will process the divorce as soon as I recover, and you can freely marry him but Haikal will come with me!" said Alex with all the pain in his heart, even his body. He looked sadly at Haikal who seemed to want to hug him but couldn't. 'I have to fight for Haikal's custody so that it falls into my hands. I don't want to lose custody again after Calvin's patent goes to Bryana. I also won't let my son be raised by Carlos!" he thought ambitiously.
