Lin Shanchu waved goodbye to Yun Wu before heading toward the training room.
Xia Jinmeng stood at the doorway with her arms crossed.
When Lin Shanchu walked up to her, Xia Jinmeng raised her chin and looked at her from the corner of her eyes. “There isn’t much time left for training. Don’t waste everyone’s time.”
Lin Shanchu didn’t even look at Xia Jinmeng as she walked straight into the training room.

However, Lin Shanchu acted as if she didn’t hear her and even quickened her pace.
Xia Jinmeng couldn’t say anything more in front of her groupmates.
“Perform the dance for me.” Xia Jinmeng stood in front of the team, looking very much like a team leader.
Lin Shanchu obediently started dancing with her groupmates.
Xia Jinmeng didn’t respect Lin Shanchu at all. As soon as the dance ended, she wanted to pick on Lin Shanchu.
However, before she could say anything, her groupmates beat her to it.

As soon as the door opened, she saw Lin Shanchu sitting on the toilet seat and playing with her phone.
He wasn’t in the toilet at all.
Xia Jinmeng smiled smugly. “I knew that you were slacking off!”
Lin Shanchu rotated the wrist that was holding the phone while glancing at Xia Jinmeng lazily. Then, she attempted to close the door on her.
It was only then that Xia Jinmeng noticed the phone in Lin Shanchu’s hand.
She quickly pushed against the door and snatched Lin Shanchu’s phone away.
“You actually hid your phone?”
“Give me back my phone.” Lin Shanchu’s expression was cold.
“Give it back to you?” Xia Jinmeng sneered. “Dream on! I want to hand it over to the director!”
As she spoke, she turned around and attempted to leave.
All Xia Jinmeng could think about was the fact that she could win against Lin Shanchu.
Therefore, she didn’t notice that Lin Shanchu didn’t look angry nor did she try to chase after her.
The phone’s screen was still lit.
Xia Jinmeng subconsciously glanced at it.
The smile on her face disappeared bit by bit.
She also stopped in her tracks.
The phone stopped at the official Weibo page of a certain luxury brand.
The pinned post on the Weibo page showed the official announcement of the collaboration between Tang Qidai and the luxury brand.
Even many A-listers had a hard time getting such a luxury brand endorsement.
Yet, a minor celebrity like Tang Qidai could easily secure such a deal.
Xia Jinmeng stared at the screen of her phone, her eyes red with jealousy.
She and Tang Qidai had both grown up in an orphanage, but Tang Qidai had a better life than her.

If it wasn’t for the fact that Lin Shanchu couldn’t keep Lu Shiyuan’s heart, he wouldn’t have pampered Tang Qidai so much.
With that thought in mind, Xia Jinmeng was so angry that she could vomit blood.
Lin Shanchu pursed her lips. “Men who are fickle and heartless aren’t pets. Isn’t it normal for me to not be able to control him?”
She sounded very disappointed and sad.
Xia Jinmeng felt like she had vented her anger. “How did Tang Qidai manage to ensnare your fiancé’s heart? You might as well admit that you’re useless!”
“People change. Lu Shiyuan used to love me, and now he loves Tang Qidai. He might love someone else in the future.”
Lin Shanchu let out a long sigh while looking helpless.
Xia Jinmeng felt extremely good when she witnessed how sad Lin Shanchu was.
