The city gates slowly roared as it opened its doors to the new incoming people from the Rei Empire. No one knows what purpose they have for the sudden and abrupt visit during the time of war, but no one did anything to stop them either to enter the city as rather than have the Rei Empire turn back and go to the Chu empire, they would want them into the city.?
However, that still didn't stop the people from whispering and murmuring amongst themselves. The procession that the Rei Empire led inside the gates were so eye-catching in the city that it stuck like an eyesore in the more or less already ruined city after a month of going to war. It looked really awkward.
The procession was stopped by two men at the center of the road. It was Ni Zixuan and Jiang Sheng, who both came quickly upon hearing that the Rei Empire sent someone in the city.The other vice generals and generals stationed at the city also rushed there to see them. At first, they were skeptical towards these newcomers, but it soon turned to amazement and confusion as soon as the people inside the carriage stepped out one by one.?

The man had eyebrows straight as a sword and a tall and straight nose. Aside from his good-looking features, the most striking thing about him was the color of his skin that was as dark as his other companions. It was the traits of the people of the Rei Empire.?
When Erkin saw that everyone's eyes were on him, he didn't shy away from them and even smiled brightly as though he were a monk travelling the world and looking at his followers. He saw the two handsome men amongst the rough-looking generals and vice generals and appraised them.
After looking, Erkin came to a conclusion. 'It's not them.'
"We were rude." Jiang Sheng nodded his head respectfully and continued to say, "However, we didn't know that the Rei Empire would send someone to the city. I am the Vice Commander of the Fire Storm Battalion, Jiang Sheng."
"I am a member of the same battalion, Ni Zixuan."
Erkin thoughtfully glanced at them as each of the main characters started to introduce themselves. Supposedly, it should have been their turn first to tell their names as they were the outsiders, but probably Jiang Sheng thought to show them utmost respect by doing it first.
He slowly swept his gaze to Nori, who quickly got his hint and stepped forward.?
"I am the Vice General of the Rei Empire's Army, Nori..." he then sidestepped and said, "And this man is the Emperor of the Rei Empire."
It would have been better and easier if the person whom the huge man introduced was the great general of the Rei Empire or the Prime Minister of the court. However, everyone didn't think that the most important person in their kingdom would make a trip to this small city.?
Jiang Sheng and Ni Zixuan glanced at each other and saw each other's shock. Why was the emperor of the Rei empire there??
As though guessing what they were thinking, Erkin smiled at them as he explained. "Zhen* originally planned to go to the Zheng Empire to visit Emperor Yun. After all, his birthday should be nearing and if Zhen waits a few more days later to come, Zhen would be late for the banquet. Hence, Zhen went for an incognito trip. However, my companion wanted to stop by the city and take a look. Apparently, she had some purpose for coming here."
