The entire volcano was shaking intensely, causing rocks to detach from the walls and enter the lake of lava with a loud splash. Thus making the lake of lava even more violent in its rampaging movement against the rocky edges it’s contained in.
In the air above the lake of lava, the void was twisting horribly around the enormous arm that had just appeared.
Its size was around fifty to sixty meters in length which were far, far from a normal human’s hand. It was well muscular and in good condition as if it had just been cut off from the person’s forearm.
The deep blue chains that wrapped around the arm had countless archaic runic symbols on them, that would glow intensely. Each time it glowed the power which was warping and twisting space around the hand would be forcefully suppressed.
Xi Shen could sense that the power radiating off of the hand were extremely profound Fire Laws. But the runic symbols looked like the ones from the Water God Temple.
Meaning this situation was a result of the Fire God and the Water God battling!
When this thought flashed passed his mind, Xi Shen immediately screamed in his heart, ‘THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE!!’
Xi Shen was a hundred percent sure that such a scenario couldn't have happened! But the evidence that it had made Xi Shen’s face paled.
This was the first time Xi Shen was showing such intense emotion about anything after being reincarnated into this era. Up until now, Xi Shen had radiated confidence and a know-it-all mindset, as he was someone from a superior Era to the people he was playing around with.
But when it comes to matters of his past, his mindset completely changed. If one was there and just experience the feeling of living with the existence of God hanging over your head, the deep dread and fear couldn’t be expressed.
The Fire God and the Water God were a part of the Six Ancient Gods Counsel. They and the other Gods of the Six Natural Elements were possibly alive ever since the God Domain was created. Being the Heir of one of the Six Fundamental Laws in the universe, their position was of an observer in the dark, as they reached the point where they found the ongoing power struggle of the God Domain meaningless.
But now Xi Shen was seeing the traces of battle between these mythical beings. Once again Xi Shen’s desire to know what happened in the past burned brightly in his heart.
However, he had to snap out of his thoughts because something was to Yang Su, and this arm looked like it was the cause.
Yang Su was floating towards the arm, while the arm itself was trembling intensely against the Water Gods Chains.
Xi Shen’s eyes narrowed at this scene.
He could also sense that the closer Yang Su got to the arm the more it felt as if he was about to break into the Sea Expansion Realm.
‘That can’t do, Yang Su hasn’t open all the meridians he can. If he enters the Sea Expansion Realm like this, then he won’t be able to fully use the Six Elemental Dao Foundation. This is a huge fortune for him, but it needs to be controlled.’
With that thought in mind, Xi Shen looked down at his zither before he placed it back into his storage ring.
“This is the first time I’ll be showing my true form.”
Xi Shen said that as his figure started radiating golden light that gave of the feeling of ultimate supremacy, and a sense of pure holiness.
Xi Shen’s body then began to grow in size, his hair growing longer as well reaching his waist, the hair tie he used to tie his air no longer able to hold his hair together.
Xi Shen’s body now resembled a huge giant, that stood at the height of twenty meters. His white Sword Pavilion robes had grown along with him as well but that was from Xi Shen manipulating the Laws to allow the material to gain such a feature.
Xi Shen's twenty-meter figure then looked towards the arm, and then lifted his barefoot to take a step forward. His second step landed him between Yang Su and the huge arm.
Xi Shen being so close to the arm could sense that his Heavenly Physique was trembling intensely with desire. He was annoyed, he knew now why his Heavenly Physique wanted this arm so badly. If he were to absorb this hand, because of its nature it would allow his Heavenly Physique to grow even stronger.
If Xi Shen ever did that, then most likely his Heavenly Physique would gain the potential to become even more powerful than any cultivators in his past life.
That type of potential was great for his Heavenly Physique, but if he really went and absorb this then his Spiritual Physique would disappear, overpowered by his Heavenly Physique. Xi Shen didn’t want to give up on his Spiritual Physique since he still wanted the ability to cultivate his Time Qi. Plus this type of power-up would pale in comparison to how strong he would become if he cultivated both his Spiritual Physique and his Heavenly Physique together.
After Xi Shen’s huge figure appeared between Yang Su and the arm, he gently wrap his hand around Yang Su’s body and then moved him further away from the arm.
Turning his attention to the armed wrapped in runic chains, the pressure of the arm despite the seal was batting against his body. If not for his physique he would have likely been crushed.
Xi Shen then sent his Divine Will to encapsulate the arm.
He examined everything in detail before he carefully bypassed the runic chains and studied the arm.
Xi Shen’s eyes lit up as he said, “So that’s how it is, you want to pass on the title of Heir to the Fire Laws to my disciple? Hahaha!! Sorry, but this thing's fate is only to be a supplement on his path of a Spiritual Qi cultivator. He’ll become a Paragon existence that controls all the Six Elements, why should he stick to just one?”
Xi Shen’s gaze then turned to the sky, to the real presence he had been talking to.
“I bet I ruined your plans by taking in Yang Su as my assistant. If I hadn’t he would have eventually awakened the mutated bloodline you placed within his ancestor and then become your Heir to the Fire Laws."
*Tsk* *Tsk* *Tsk*
Xi Shen shook his head in pity, then said again, “The era of worshiping your false Gods is over…,” His gaze then became cold as he continue, “...As long as I’m alive you won’t succeed in creating another Heir. If I find one in the future, I’ll cut them down.”
Those last words of Xi Shen were filled with so much bloodlust and killing intent, if one heard them they would envision a battlefield fill with bloody corpses that piled up to the heavens.
This was Xi Shen’s declaration of war against Heaven’s Mandate!
Turning to Yang Su, Xi Shen sent his Divine Will out and woke him up from his trance-like state.
Yang Su woke up and looked around confused. His gaze then landed on Xi Shen’s huge figure, and he couldn’t help but have his mouth drop open in complete stupefaction.
“El-elder brother Shen?! Y-you… your…”
“Yang Su, I want you to open as much meridian as you can.”
Xi Shen cut Yang Su off and said.
When Yang Su heard that, his gaze landed on the more massive arm behind Xi Shen, and although he didn’t know what was going on, he still immediately got into position on Xi Shen’s palm without any questions.
Xi Shen smiled when he saw that.
He then turned his gaze back to the arm and thought about how he was going to go about this. Yang Su’s case was special, he had the ability to cultivate six types of Spiritual Qi and possibly more side elements that branch off of those.
It would be a waste to only create one Qi Sea from Fire Qi then. Xi Shen then turned his gaze to the runic chains, sensing the Water Laws from them.
“Alright, then let’s do that.”
With his Divine Will, Xi Shen created a gap in the runic chain seal and guided the power of the arm out in a stream of energy.
He then sent that stream of energy towards Yang Su, but first, he manipulated the Fire Qi in the surroundings and infused it in the stream. He wanted to dilute it first because this power was something from the God Era, its strength was not something Laws within the Spiritual Qi in this Era could match up to.
But with this Xi Shen had created Fire Qi with purer Laws within them. This would make Yang Su’s Fire Qi much more potent and stronger than others who cultivate Fire Qi.
After that was finished, Xi Shen sent the stream of energy to Yang Su’s dantian. From there, Yang Su would use his Soul Sense to manipulate it to open more of his meridian, and then break into the Sea Expansion Realm.
Xi Shen was careful not to send too much at once and was doing it slowly where Yang Su can handle the amount.
However, Xi Shen’s Divine Will that was encapsulating Yang Su to watch over his process trembled and Xi Shen’s eyes widen at what he saw.
The stream of Fire Qi that's just entered Yang Su, suddenly turned black in color and start giving off a sinister feeling.
“What the fuck?!”
