The Qi Sea projection behind Xi Shen actually has the ability to affect the material world, and worse of all it was absorbing the Time Qi from the surroundings as well.
Somehow, his Qi Sea projection in the outside world was connected to the one in his Dantian, and as the one in the outside world absorbs Time Qi the one in his Dantian began to fully form.
It had only been about 30secs since his Qi Sea projection appeared but it had already grown to twenty meters, almost filling up his entire room!
And it showed no sign of stopping until it reached its full size.
Each Phase of the Meridian Opening Realm allows a cultivator to start off with an initial size Qi Sea.
The First Phase -1-9 opened meridians- allows a cultivator to start off with a five-meter Qi Sea after breaking through to the Sea Expansion Realm. The Second Phase -10-27 opened meridians- allows one to form a 10-meter Qi Sea, the Third Phase -28-50 opened meridians- is 15 meters, and the Fourth and the last Phase-51-90 meridians opened- is 20 meters.
Yang Su’s three Qi Seas had reached just over 20 meters, stopping at 24 meters.
Given that Xi Shen had opened 100 of his meridians a never before occurrence the initial size his Qi Sea would reach before it fully form was not able to be estimated. But from seeing that its initial size had immediately reached 20 meters it would be safe to say it would be even bigger when it finished forming.
This was nothing but good news for Xi Shen, but in this situation, it's a fact that increased his ever-growing dread.
He had managed to slow down the intake of Time Qi, and one could see the Qi Sea projection behind him slow down its rotation.
Tai and Little Snow had long left their position, and the room entirely. Even in their Pocket Dimensions, they could sense Xi Shen’s Qi Sea rapidly aging the surroundings as well as the void.
The furniture in his room was nothing but dust and the floor tiles as well as the ceiling tiles were one minute away from collapsing.
Xi Shen’s eyes were close but they were completely bloodshot and he gritted his teeth so hard they began to bleed.
“AHHHH!!”
Xi Shen suddenly let out a bellowing roar filled with anger and frustration. He realize he had no other choice but to use his Heavenly Laws to curb his Qi Sea that was going out of his control.
Xi Shen’s body started to radiate a golden light and the Laws of the Six Elements in the surroundings moved towards the Qi Sea and began suppressing its rotation, slowing it down even more. Within a split second, the suction force of the Qi Sea projection was reduced to nothing but a small intake.
Xi Shen was about to heave a long sigh of relief, but he almost cough out blood when he sensed that the Six elemental Laws began to be influenced by the Time from the Qi Sea projection!
They were aging rapidly and before a full three seconds went by, half of the Laws Xi Shen used to suppress the Qi Sea were completely gone.
No longer able to sit still Xi Shen flew up from his seated position, but to his horror, the Qi Sea moved with him and almost destroyed the ceiling, Xi Shen immediately sat back down, with a bitter and ugly expression on his face.
He was completely screwed!
The Heavenly Laws weren’t working since the Time Qi was actually stronger in nature than them.

Xi Shen almost fainted when the suction force of the Qi Sea came back with a vengeance!
Two-thirds of the Heavenly Laws suppressing it had been utterly destroyed. Xi Shen wanted to scream and curse at this catastrophe happening all of a sudden. But he also wanted to smile and celebrate this new discovery of the Spiritual Qi system, as he could imagine the future strength he could display with this ability.
From his estimation, this Qi Sea projection can boost his Qi cultivation by two to three times. It was a wonderous natural ability that was sort of like a domain where he could fight and entrap his enemy inside in his Time Qi Sea.
They were two completely contrasting feelings, and Xi Shen couldn’t help but feel like he was going to go crazy.
‘It’s been about a full minute since this appeared, its fluctuations haven’t left this room thanks to the runes I had installed to keep my cultivation a secret. But I should not underestimate the ability of high-level cultivators to sense the changes between heaven and earth. Just a slight change in Spiritual Qi fluctuations could be sensed by them when their tens of Kilometers away.’
Xi Shen didn’t know what to do to stop himself from going through a breakthrough, it’s like it wasn’t his Dantian anymore. Like it had been completely taken over by his Qi Sea, just regaining control over his body took everything he had.

And Xi Shen was sure that his Maple Continent wasn't the strongest Continent on this planet. He found pieces of information that tell of an extremely powerful but far away Divine Central Continent.
As for the threats he could think of nearby, sure his father could take him under his protection, and make sure he cultivates safely until he could protect himself. But that means his father would definitely want him to become Emperor, and that type of lifestyle was not what Xi Shen want to live in his new life. It would be a waste for him to be trapped in that position for who knows how long!!
As if his determination was ignited, Xi Shen clenched his fist, and his Divine Will that wasn’t listening to him trembled. Xi Shen’s eyes brighten and he pushed harder, soon he was able to control his Divine Will to latch onto his Qi Sea projection and began pulling it back into his Dantian!
But as if it was a mad bull that refused to be leashed, the Qi Sea fought intensely against his control.
“What the fuck?! You're my Qi Sea!! How dare you try and fight against me!!”
Xi Shen almost lost his mind at the absurdity of the situation.
Growling out under his breath, with even more bloodshot eyes and a red face Xi Shen used his entire being to manipulate his Divine Will to force his Qi Sea back into his Dantian.
Well, to tell the truth, Xi Shen didn’t know where this thing was supposed to go. He felt a connection to it that trailed from the Qi Sea in his Dantian, so he was just taking a wild guess that he was able to absorb it into his body.
And surely his hunch wasn’t wrong. The Qi Sea slowly began to enter his body.
The shape was now distorted as a part of it began to enter his back. The rotation of the Qi Sea had completely halted and its suction force was barely absorbing any of the Time Qi from the void.
For Xi Shen to cultivate his Time Qi, he had to use his Divine Will that had the nature of his Heavenly Physique to draw out the Time Qi from the void. But he had long stopped that process and it was the Qi Sea itself that was drawing the Time Qi from the void.
This was another ability that exhilarated Xi Shen. He could release his Qi Sea in the future and have it absorb the Time Qi from the void instead of him doing it manually with his Divine Will.
Now that he had his Qi Sea under control, he couldn’t help but think about all the possibilities having this natural ability would bring in the future. Well sure he couldn’t reveal it in a battle, but that was if no one knew his identity.
Xi Shen was getting sick and tired of just cultivating his Time Qi and not being able to utilize it. He wanted to have battles using his Spiritual Qi cultivation, but he had to go about it carefully by hiding his identity.
He also had to find some poor souls to test his Qi Cultivation strength on. And of course, he had a perfect idea of who those poor souls were, Demonic Cultivators. He was still hung up on the strange nature of Demonic Qi so this would be a good time to battle them while studying it more in-depth. And of course, he would take pleasure in getting rid of Demonic Cultivators in general, as they were more like parasites than humans that were infesting the Maple Continent.
There were even cases of them using slave traders in the mortal world to capture children and forcing them to become a Demonic Cultivator. Xi Shen didn’t have to worry about his conscience being plagued with regrets for killing them.
While Xi Shen was happily thinking about his future plans that he thought would create some interesting situations, he suddenly heard Tai's frantic and horrified voice echoing out in his mind, “Master! Master! You better hurry up and solve your situation. That creepy man from before is approaching this mountain!!”
Hearing that Xi Shen blinked, the first person who came to mind was Ye Fei.
Xi Shen cursed in his heart and began to pull his Time Qi even faster. He asked Tai, “How long would he take to arrive here?”
Tai responded, “He’s taking his time and he doesn’t seem to be in a hurry, but in less than a minute he'll arrive above your courtyard!”
Xi Shen thought in his heart, ‘It seems he has some business with me. I should finish suppressing my Qi Sea before he re…’
Was what Xi Shen was going to say, but his eyes went wide with incredulity when this damn thing began to find the desire to resist him again, and even more violently this time.
“This fucking bastard, are you trying to screw me over or something?!!”
Xi Shen cursed out loud, but then suddenly look up stunned.
Through the ceiling, in the sky, he could faintly sense the formation of a Heavenly Tribulation.
“Wha-what?!! You gotta be fucking joking!”
Xi Shen turned his senses to his Qi Sea and realize it was… how should he put it?… it was calling the Heavenly Tribulation to him??
Xi Shen felt his temperature rise and his blood vessels almost burst.
Xi Shen then let out a maniacal cackle, finally going mad at this absurd situation happening to him.
