Li Shen stared at this batshit crazy woman and said.
“Your not right in the head.”
Looking down at him, the woman asked.

Li Shen suddenly felt a chill go down his spine as he sensed the numerous teleportation circles release chaotic energy fluctuations.
A greater rune formation was created using these small teleportation cirlces, entrapping him inside.

He screamed internally at the sight.
If so many teleportation circles detonate the explosion was enough to obliterate this entire hall. Not to mention the powerful spatial laws mixed within it that weren’t to be taken lightly. Anyone below the Nascent Realm would be lucky to survive an explosion like this.

The woman seeing Li Shen’s disappearance cried out in a tragic tone. Now left alone in the middle of these teleportation circles giving off terrifying fluctuation, the woman’s face went pale.

The entire teleportation hall including her was engulfed in bright blue light. Seeing this sight the woman froze and she stared on with not fear but excitement.

She mutter as she closed her eyes, her figure fully obscured by the bright light. Then, as if a bombshell of great magnitude had gone off, the entire Teleportation Hall exploded.
However, what immediately happened after was the chaotic spatial laws erupting within the explosion. The void twisted and distort before shattering completely.
A miniature black hole appeared in that shatter void before a suction force emanated, swallowing everything within a two-hundred-meter radius including the explosion itself.
Even the expert who exploded himself wasn’t able to shatter the void like this.
Li Shen looked back at the sight of the wormhole with chills going done his spine.
“That’s way stronger than I had anticipated, just what did she do to those runes? No, there must have been something else at play here to cause this thorough destruction.”

“Destroying the Grand Formation then sowing confusion among disciples as well as taking out the teleportation halls they could use to escape.”

“Their separating the Celestial Academy’s forces and isolating them. With the Grand Formation gone… a frontal assault could be carried out in their confusion.”

Li Shen asked himself, but he didn’t know the extent of either the Demonic Cult's power as a whole or the Celestial Academy to come to a conclusion.
Li Shen stopped thinking about this and instead move towards the Inner Academy while carrying Fuangu in his hands. With Tai’s ability, he was faster and he remain undetected as he went.
Meanwhile, a black wormhole opened up above the Celestial Academy before Li Shu stepped out.
With a glance, he looked over the entire academy and he frowned.
With that one glance, he could see the chaos happening everywhere in the academy as well as Patriarch Evernight’s main goal.
His gaze then shifted to the deeper regions of the Academy to land on a cottage on a remote mountain.
As soon as his gaze landed on it, he suddenly appeared several meters away from the door.
“Is this the outcome you intended to happen?”
Li Shu turned his back to the cottage while folding his hands behind him. He looked towards the mountain-filled horizon and expansive blue sky.
This place was relatively peaceful, a complete contrast to what was happening beyond those mountains in the distance.
After he spoke, an unwelcoming voice drifted out of the cottage.
“Take your son and leave, you are not welcome here.”
“I am the Emperor, anywhere my feet touches becomes mine, thus I am welcome anywhere.”
Li Shu spoke like his statement was a matter of fact.
Lu Xue Wen snorted at his remark before saying.
“Out of all the Emperors, you are the most arrogant and foolish of them all. To leave a mere Soul Transformation Realm clone behind and then leave to who knows where. You aren’t supposed to leave before you abdicate your position to your successor, if your father and past Emperors had seen your actions they would have cursed at you.”
After those words were spoken, the mountain Li Shu was standing on suddenly faded away, leaving him floating in the air.
Now he wasn’t standing on anything to claim the land as his.
The mountain appeared a few meters away from Li Shu. He turned towards it and smile bitterly.
To go out of his way to move a mountain a few meters to prove a point, Li Shu laughed internally at Lu Xue Wen’s spiteful nature.
“Well, my father and the Emperors before him weren’t able to reach a hair’s breadth away from the Heavenly Realm as I have. They as well as yourself, great grand uncle have only managed to make it halfway, becoming mere quasi-Heavenly Palace Realm existences.”
Silence came from the cottage, but soon a shadowy figure that resemble a ghost floated through the door before setting his featureless face onto Li Shu.

Li Shu looked at this shadowy figure and he leisurely commented.
“Not bad, I see you’ve made some progress forming your first Heavenly Soul after all these years.”
The Lu Xue Wen’s half-complete Heavenly Soul remained silent for a moment before asking.
“How?”
Li Shu smiled and said.
“How what?”
“How did you form a Heavenly Soul, it’s not supposed to be possible without God Qi.”
Li Shu with the same smile responded.
“That’s a secret I’m not willing to share.”
“Don’t patronize me, I know it has something to do with that second son of yours and the pillar of light that appeared above your Li Clan when he was born. I sense a sliver of God Qi within that pillar of light.”
“Hahaha!”
Li Shu suddenly broke into laughter.
“I knew you would sense it, the others aren’t at a high enough level to have noticed it. I even went to great lengths to keep that pillar a secret, as far as activating the Clan’s Guardian Treasure. But still, you notice it even though I acted quickly.”
“What was it, you were even able to form a Heavenly Palace along with a Heavenly Soul.”
“Not telling.”
Li Shu simply said.
“Though, even if I wanted to I couldn’t as even I don’t know what it was.”
Silence engulf the both of them as they stared at each other. It was after a prolonged time that Lu Xue Wen spoke up.
“And yet still you sent your son to my Celestial Academy, weren’t you afraid I would make a move?”
Li Shu was still smiling, but his words were anything but warm.
“If you had acted I would have murdered everyone in your academy before dragging out that mysterious daughter of yours.”
Lu Xue Wen snorted but he didn’t respond.
“I only sent him here instead of the Imperial Academy or the Divine Star Academy because those places would have stunted his growth. Having him in a hostile environment would put constant pressure on him and help him to keep improving. But it seems this place is no longer suitable for that.”
Li Shu turn to look at the horizon as he said those last words.
Lu Xue Wen didn’t respond and only turned to enter back into his cottage.
“If you aren’t going to make a move against the Demonic Cult I will. With their lack of resources, there isn’t a more perfect time to attack.”
Li Shu chuckled as he retorted.
“Aren’t you just weakening them in preparation for the 1st Chosens Tournament? You and your disciple go at it like this every time and it’s always the disciples of your respective powers who suffer in the end.”
“He’s not my disciple. And this is training to harden those academy disciples for the crueler outside world.”
Lu Xue Wen passed through the door after saying that.
“From the looks of it, your disciple doesn’t see this as training. He’s going all out.”

Li Shu smiled at that.

Li Shu’s figure soon teleported away from this place, he came to pick up his son and that’s what he was going to do.
