Li Shen smiled bitterly before he formed a hand seal before pointing in Mu Fan’s direction.

The weights around both of Mu Fan’s wrists slowly began dissipating, it was transforming into Metal Qi.

Mu Fan look at his wrists and said in shock.

“Wait, they were made from Qi?!”

Mu Fan had not known, despite Li Shen being able to change their states of properties, he thought it was just some metal with that characteristic, not Qi.

Li Shen had been experimenting with combining different aspects of his abilities, and one of the things he discovered was that when shaping Qi he could use his Spiritual Physique that was changed by Chaos Qi to increase its mass way beyond what was possible. It was similar to how he could increase and decrease his own weight.

And add on the effects of the Five Principles of Transmutation and he could change the state of the Qi from its original air-like state, to liquid, or solid.

That was one feature he had discovered about his Spiritual Physique, or should he call it Chaos Physique by this point? Perhaps Chaos Spirit Physique sounded better?

No, Spirit Chaos Physique has a better ring to it.

As Li Shen changed his name for his Spiritual Physique, Tai who was casually watching the battle between Mu Fan and Jun next to him pulled out a strange-looking fruit.

While in his palm, it gave off a ghostly appearance as what seemed like smoke slowly moved around it. What could be seen of the pitch black fruit that the smoke reveal at times, seemed to be... fading in and out of existence??

Li Shen immediately snapped his head towards Tai and said scoldingly.

“Don’t you dare eat off all of the Illusory Void Fruits when Little Snow hasn’t eaten any yet!”

Hearing the sudden shout of Li Shen right next to his ear, Tai jumped a little. After catching the fruit that almost fell, he turned to Li Shen and said begrudgingly.

“I’m not that greedy, I picked enough to share for her equally between us. This is just my own share I haven’t eaten yet.”

Li Shen eyed Tai suspiciously, but seeing his sad expression, his serious expression faded.

“It’s your fault, after all, you’ve been considerably greedy in the past.”

Tai pouted at Li Shen wrongly accusing him, but he didn’t forget to snack on his fruit.

Li Shen sighed before he brought Tai's head into his chest and rubbed his head to comfort him.

Tai ignored his consoling as he ate his fruit, but Li Shen only smiled before he turned back to observe Mu Fan and Jun’s battle.

Mu Fan shook his wrist relishing the lighter feeling.

With the scabbard still on his saber, he waved it around a few times as it was way more comfortable to swing now. He could also go all out.

Looking towards Jun, Mu Fan said warningly.

“You might be faster than me, but yer not faster than my saber.”

Jun frowned.

Mu Fan’s attack previously was extremely fast. Now with the weights off his wrists, his swings would be even faster. It was rather abnormal that they were able to match his speed.

Jun flipped over his hand and a slender white spear appeared in his palm.

A red aura blazed to life around Mu Fan, it was his overbearing Blade Intent. At the same time, Jun’s pure and untainted white color Spear Intent flowed out in waves around him while giving off an oppressive feeling similar to Mu Fan’s Blade Intent.

Without any indication or warning, both of them then dash towards each other.

The trunks in the surroundings blasted away as their figures left after images as they clashed numerous times.

Meanwhile, this was occurring.

A disheveled looking youth had stepped into the Western Territory.

His unnaturally bright red hair obscured his gaze as he looked towards the deeper regions. His deep red ruby pupils flickered with excitement and eagerness.

“I’m close.”

The boy said in a somewhat horse voice as he continued forward.

However, the dangers of the Western Territory didn’t even wait for him to reach its inner depths before it bared its fangs towards him.

A ridiculously large serpent resting in the trees above shifted its vertical pupils onto the youth.

Its nearly fifty-meter body was wrapped around the trees and their branches above but it still somehow had the ability to shoot down towards the youth.

Its mouth released a disgusting stench as it widen to swallow the youth whole.

It was feeling quite hungry, and even though this food looked a little on the small side it sensed something within him that it couldn’t resist. In fact, the snake for some reason seemed to have lost all reason with the only desire being to devour whatever was inside this youth that was making it salivate.

Else otherwise, the aura that youth was unconsciously releasing was something that would make it cower in fear if it was in its right mind.

Before the youth could react, the snake’s mouth was already around him. But before its mouth could clamp shut to swallow the youth in one gulp, a frigid aura appeared in the world.

In less time than it took for a human to blink, the snake’s body was suddenly covered in a clear crystal. But it wasn’t a crystal, the frigid aura that appeared in the world so suddenly was coming from it, meaning it was ice.

In another blink, the crystal-like ice on the snake’s body caught on fire. The fire was a deep crimson red, just the heat from it alone would have one feel like they were on a path slowly entering the underworld to be burnt alive.

These were Underworld Flames, not to mention its heat just a spark was enough to burn an ordinary Foundation Realm cultivator to ash.

But despite that, as the snake's body quickly turned to dust, the trees remained unscathed.

The flames disappear as quickly as they came before a sudden gust of wind came in and blew away the ashes of the snake.

What was shocking was the fact that the pace of the youth had not changed in the slightest. Everything took time to explain, but it all happened so fast that most cultivators would have their eyes go wide and wonder where that large snake had suddenly disappeared to.

There was only one word that could describe this scene.

Terrifying.

It was absolutely terrifying how this youth had cast those two Daoist Magic spells. No, the sudden gust of wind made it three spells.

He had multi-cast three spells within an instant, without weaving any hand signs or saying any incantations or mantras. His control of them as well, to not have burnt a single leaf was equally astonishing.

If Xian, someone who was perusing the pinnacle of Daoist Magic spells and their casting had seen this, he would be stomping on the ground while banging his chest while screaming how could some in the same generation as him be more proficient in multi-casting.

Yang Su’s steps never faltered as he headed for the center of the Western Territory, where the Guardian Tree was. This was all while in the territories he was unable to avoid on his way there, had that territory's Spirit Beast go batshit crazy and try to devour him.

Yang Su was really starting to get annoyed by this constant event. He had to reach his Master and ask him what was causing this, for him to become bait for Spirit Beasts.
