The bartender just gave a simple nod as he said, "That person was much stronger than any of us. If he wanted to, it would have been easy for him to kill all of us without any effort. The only reason he didn't do it was because he at least cared about his relationship with the Mercenary Guild."
All of them revealed even more shocked looks when they heard this.
After all, they knew who this bartender really was.

"Huh?" The waitress revealed a confused look before asking, "You mean the part where he told us that we would have to make a decision? Isn't that just about whether to pursue this or not?"
The bartender shook his head before saying, "If that was it, why would he have said all of that? He isn't a fool, he should know what we can and can't do just based on the difference in power. There was no need for him to say anything since we definitely wouldn't have been able to do anything."
The waitress knitted her brows before slowly asking, "Then should I try to find information on him?"
The bartender shook his head slowly before saying, "No, that might just anger him more…It's clear that he's giving the Mercenary Guild face or he wouldn't have done all of that. So we have to consider that he's someone from headquarters who's here on a special mission…"
The waitress' chin dropped when she heard this before she revealed a bitter smile.
