Chapter 103 You Can't Stop Me!!
Soon it was a morning in a few hours. Sun rays started to brighten the bedroom where Lu Qiang and Jiang Yuyan were sleeping. Lu Qiang woke up; and looked at the woman sleeping soundly while using his arm as a pillow and circling her hand around his chest.
Jiang Yuyan looked like an innocent child who was aloof to all the worries in the world.
Having his moments of admiring the adorable woman, Lu Qiang smiled and kissed her head. Being careful not to wake her up, Lu Qiang lifted her head with his other hand and pulled back his hand from below her head.
He adjusted the pillow under her head, which he used for himself, and got up from the bed. Before he could step away, he heard a sweet voice that he wished to hear every morning.
"Good Morning, Lu Qiang!"
Lu Qiang turned back and looked at Jiang Yuyan, who looked at him, smiling pleasantly. It looked like she had a good sleep.
He sat back on the edge of the bed, leaned towards her to give her a peck on the lips, and greeted, "Good Morning!"
Jiang Yuyan blushed as he kissed her on the lips.
"Did you sleep well?" Lu Qiang asked.
Jiang Yuyan nodded, "Yes!"
"Do you want to sleep more?" Lu Qiang asked again.
Jiang Yuyan shook her head, "Nope!"
Lu Qiang smiled mischievously, "Ok then. It's time to see something exciting," and moved to Jiang Yuyan's side of the wardrobe.
Jiang Yuyan sat in the bed as she looked at him while rubbing both her eyes with her palm. She was curious to know what Lu Qiang was up to and the way he smiled, she was sure there was something he planned.
Lu Qiang pulled out a wrap gown from the wardrobe, which matched Jiang Yuyan's nightdress. Carrying it, he went to the Jiang Yuyan but said nothing.
"Can you get off the bed?" he asked.
She obediently did so, and Lu Qiang put the wrap gown on her.
"I can do it," she interrupted.
Ignoring her, he continued doing it.
Jiang Yuyan didn't know what was going on. She just quietly let him do what he was doing as she got used to his such kind of behavior when he did something, suddenly and unexpectedly.
Once it was done and Lu Qiang made sure it was fine, he held her wrist, "Let's go. We are getting late."
Lu Qiang didn't give her a chance to ask where they were going and started walking while holding her hand.
Jiang Yuyan, too didn't ask where they were going. She just quietly walked along with him.
When they reached downstairs, butler greeted them, "Good Morning, Master and Mistress."
Lu Qiang was in a hurry, so he just passed by the butler, but Jiang Yuyan turned her head to look at him with surprised expressions on her face. She was actually surprised to hear him calling her a Mistress.
Jiang Yuyan thought, 'I'm not married to Lu Qiang yet, and he is already calling me a mistress, a mistress of this beautiful house.'
She turned her head back, smiled, and continued walking along with Lu Qiang.
Just in a while, both reached the same spot of the hill where they observed a beautiful view of the city the previous night.
Lu Qiang stopped there, "Here we are."
Jiang Yuyan looked in front of her and saw the view. It was totally different from what she saw the previous night. It was obvious because it was a day, not a night, but she still felt something different in her heart.
As they were on the hill, sun rays reached there earlier than they could reach down to the city. The city looked beautiful as the birds flew in the sky, and the city looked like surrounded by clouds.
As it was early morning, not many vehicles were running on the streets, so there was no movement or sound they could see or hear. It was a beautiful view, so peaceful and heartwarming.
Jiang Yuyan stood there, looking at it. She closed her eyes to feel the morning breeze and had a peaceful smile on her face.
After spending some time there while enjoying the morning treat for their eyes, both went back to the duplex.
When they went inside, the butler was there too. He greeted them again and asked, "Master-Mistress, what would you like to have for breakfast?"
Lu Qiang looked at him and said, "Everything that Mistress of this house will like."
Butler nodded and left to the kitchen.
Jiang Yuyan observed these two people, the master and the servant. She was stunned to see this, what was happening.
Earlier, when the butler called her Mistress, she thought he had mistaken, but now Lu Qiang also called her Mistress of this house.
When butler left, she looked at Lu Qiang with questioning expressions.
Lu Qiang, too, looked at her knowing what she was thinking about. He smiled nonchalantly, "Mistress of this house; let's go get fresh first," and then signaled her to go upstairs.
Jiang Yuyan moved in the stairs' direction, still having those expressions on her face, and Lu Qiang followed her.
Jiang Yuyan halted in her track after climbing a few stairs up and turned around. She was just one step up from him that made her stand face to face in front of him.
She looked straight into his eyes, "Mistress?....Of this house?"
Lu Qiang nodded, "Yes! What else can I call you."
"But…"
"Don't you want to be a mistress of this house? Our house?" Lu Qiang asked.
"No! it's not like that…It's just that…We are…."
"Marriage is not necessary for me to call you my wife and the mistress of this household." Lu Qiang interrupted her, knowing what she would say.
"Hmmm?" It surprised her again, but she liked what he said and asked, "Isn't it too fast?"
Lu Qiang continued, "In my heart, you are already my wife; remaining things are just formalities to show it to the world."
She could only stare at him, not knowing how to react to it.
Lu Qiang mischievously smiled, "The only thing left is to consummate this marriage, and I think we should do it as soon as possible. What do you say?"
Her eyes were left wide open as she felt choked with the little shock from his bold words, "Cough**Cough!"
Lu Qiang smiled and moved forward to kiss her, but before he could do it, Jiang Yuyan moved her face back, covered her lips with her palms, and climbed one step up backward.
Lu Qiang gave her a questioning look as if asking how can she stop him from kissing her.
Jiang Yuyan replied while still covering her mouth with a palm, "I haven't brushed my teeth."
Lu Qiang chuckled, "Me neither, so we are even."
He, too, climbed one step up to match her height and immediately pulled her closer by circling his hand around her waist before she could move back up any further.
Jiang Yuyan didn't wish to remove her hands, but Lu Qiang kissed her palm, "You can't stop me, and you know it better."
