Chapter 109 Take It As My Last Wish!!
Lu Qiang continued to drive, immersed in his thoughts. Lu Feng, too was busy staring outside of the car window, thinking about something.
"Lu Feng!" Li Qiang called him.
Lu Feng came out of his thoughts and looked at Lu Qiang to know why he called, "Hmm?"
Lu Qiang replied, "Come to the office today. You haven't been since so long."
Lu Feng sighed, "I don't want to."
"Why?" Lu Qiang asked.
Lu Feng closed his eyes, rested his head back in the chair, "I am not interested in our family business. I want to do something on my own."
"Nobody is stopping you from doing so, and coming to the office won't affect it."
"Still, I don't want to," came the firm reply from the aloof man.
"One day, if something happens to me, then you will be the one to take responsibility for everything."
Lu Feng frowned, "Since when have you started talking bullshit?"
Lu Qiang smiled, "This is the first time."
"Then I have one more reason for not coming to the office."
"What's that?
Lu Feng opened his eyes and looked at Lu Qiang, "I won't come to the office and will never take any interest in the work. This way, you will always remember, there is no one to take care of our family and business after you, and you will always protect your own life for their sake."
Lu Qiang didn't know how to reply to this. He just kept silent and focused on driving, knowing Lu Feng would never agree to come to the office.
Lu Feng continued, "Now you have someone whose happiness depends on you, so you have to protect yourself even more. If you ever leave her alone, I'll never forgive you."
Lu Qiang smiled, "I won't."
"Drop to the next intersection," Lu Feng instructed.
Lu Qiang stopped the car at the roadside, and Lu Feng stepped out of the car.
"Lu Feng," Lu Qiang called him, and Lu Feng waited to hear him.
"Let's get along with each other just like before. I missed my brother and my best friend all these years. As things are coming back to me again, I want everything back like before."
Lu Feng listened to him while standing outside of the front passenger seat door and looked at him through the window, but he didn't react to what Lu Qiang said.
Upon seeing no Lu Feng reaction, Lu Qiang said again, "Take it as my last wish."
Hearing it, Lu Feng sighed and moved towards the driver seat door. He opened the door and commanded in a quite loud and angry tone, "Get out of the car."
Lu Qiang was taken aback by seeing Lu Feng like this as he could see Lu Feng was angry. Unfastening the seat belt, Lu Qiang stepped out of the car.
Lu Feng closed the car door with a bang and glared at Lu Qiang.
"What did you just say? Last wish, huh? Then I will make you ask for it."
Before Lu Qiang could say anything, Lu Feng punched him hard in his stomach.
"PUNCH!!"
"Ahhh!!"
Leaning forward, Lu Qiang covered his stomach with his hands out of reflex, feeling a pain caused by the punch, but said nothing to Lu Feng.
Seeing Lu Qiang in pain didn't affect Lu Feng even a bit as he said, "I'll beat you to death first; then you can ask me for your last wish, you Moron," and punched Lu Qiang again in the face that made the corner of his lips bleed.
Lu Qiang smiled instead of getting mad at Lu Feng as he wiped the blood, which pissed Lu Feng even more.
Holding Lu Qiang's shirt collar, he asked, "Do you want me to hit you again, or was it enough to bring you back to your senses?"
Lu Qiang smiled and said, "I don't mind getting beaten by you, as long as you talk to me and stay beside me."
Hearing it, Lu Feng let go of Lu Qiang, and his expressions changed from angry to calm. He closed his eyes for a moment, sighed deeply, and warned, "I don't want to hear that again."
Lu Qiang nodded and asked, "Are you done?"
Lu Feng nodded, trying to be calm.
Lu Qiang straightened up his clothes and said while looking at Lu Feng, "Sorry, brother, but this is going to hurt you really bad."
Lu Feng looked at Lu Qiang to know what did he mean, but before he could understand anything, Lu Qiang hit him in the stomach too and said after blowing on his fist, "Actually, I wanted to punch you in the face, but I don't want our family to see it and worry for you."
Lu Feng held his stomach with his hands, as it was painful but said nothing.
Lu Qiang looked at him, "This is for keeping yourself away from me and behaving like a stranger for all these years."
Lu Feng was in pain but spoke, "Accepted!"
Lu Qiang held him with his collar to make him stand face to face as he glared at him, "Dare to go away from me again, and I'll beat you to the death for sure."
Lu Feng smiled, looking into his eyes, "I don't mind getting beaten by you, but I won't go away from you. I am tired of being a stranger to you."
Lu Qiang let go of Lu Feng's collar and hugged him tightly. Lu Feng, too, hugged him back.
The road did not have much traffic, but the few cars passed by, and the passengers looked at them doubtfully.
"Why are they staring at us?" Lu Feng asked, and then the next moment, both pushed each other away as they cursed, "Damn these people and their rotten brains."
"Let's get away from here," Lu said suggested.
Lu Feng agreed, "Yeah! Or these people will think something is going on between us."
Both sat in the car, and Lu Qiang asked, "Do you have any work to do today?"
Lu Feng shook his head, "My work hours start in the evening."
Lu Qiang fastened his seat belt, "Then let's go somewhere."
"Don't you have work to do?" Lu Feng asked.
"No work is more important than you."
Lu Qiang started the car, took a U-turn, and drove in the opposite direction to his office.
